A great performance and a deserved win.  You could tell from early on we would win, due to our possession and dominance - and england offered nothing.

We had 2 or 3 bad misses when kicking at goal, but as the game was so one sided it didnt matter.  Russell was stupid to get sin binned as well, totally needless.

To restrict any england team to just 6 points is indicative of a first rate performance.

Ian McGeechan wrote afterwards that if you can match them physically, they dont know what to do.  They are all just big brawny bastards who expect to walk over teams physically.  Its a very different england these days, to say the teams with guys like the underwood brothers, jeremy guscott etc - who were genuine athletes instead of body builders.  They had the power and pace to rip teams apart and were almost untouchable in full flow.

Anyway, well in Scotland.

Lets keep it going vs wales and dont let an empty murrayfield phase us or cause us to be complacent. 

We are easily capable of beating the welsh in edinburgh and then the game in paris could be very interesting indeed, to think of what a win there could lead to.....

 

Edit - amazing to think the last time Scotland did that, we won the ECWC around the same time lol.  none of the team who won yesterday were even born.  Its been a long time coming, though we had been very close several times.

What an incredible last 10 mins. Bet that French guy feels like a right tool this morning not kicking it out, bizarre decision. We played fantastic and deserved that try. Aye it's been that kind of tournament, so many shocks. We are on the up though, keep the squad together and next year could hopefully be our year ?
