He still rolls that gold out on Red TV.

Late on in the 1-5 drubbing to St Johnstone back in October, he was creaming himself about our corner count (about 9-2 Dons at the time) and claimed Robson coming on (four down with 20 mins to go) could get us back in the game.

HAHAHA wonderful, on a seperate note I believe that Brown had a hand in Mcinnes being picked as our manager, apparently they are very very close.

Had a go at the fans during the game for leaving early, too.

Does he still wear the bunnet?

Agree with this. We were in serious trouble when he first took over. However, in the end, he probably stayed about one season too long.

Unforunately, that one season was absolute torture.

At least it was exciting when we could have got relegated.

Doubt that very much. He won't like Derek's tan.

I think people only believe JC had some sort of success with us because of the shite we'd also had before.

If getting papped out in cups to QotS instead of Stenhousemuir is progress to some then so be it.

It's definitely progress, QoTSA are pushing for promotion in the Championship while Stenhousemuir are close to relegation to the 4th Division.

Spoke with Craig a few weeks back and was interesting to reflect on what players he brought in:- McGinn, Hayes, Reynolds, Arnason and Anderson (Milsom when not injured)

He didn't speak about the nightmares though:- Mawene, Fallon, Uchechi, Fatty Broon, Stephen Hughes, Chris Clark...

Calderwood had some utter dross too:- Lubomir Blaha, Thorarinn Kristjansson, Markus and Mikko Paatelainen (nearly forgot about these guys), Bossu, The fuck up with Heikkinen, Preece out Langfield in, McNamara, Dan Smith, Tommy Wright... DAVE BUS!

For the amount Calderwood had to spend, we vastly underachieved in the cups! The UEFA cup run was great, but in the end of the day, we only won 1 game in that run.

Anyway - onwards and upwards!

Correct Lots of utter garbage spoken about the European run.

Just to put some fact to quash the myth.

Played: 8

Won: 1

Lost: 3

Drew: 4

Win percentage: 12.5%

4 / 12 points in the group

THREE out of FIVE teams in the group went through, we finished third, ridiculous set-up which was changed the next season.

Goals For: 9

Goals Against: 14

If you quantify steadying the ship by getting steady 9th place finishes on a par with the performance of the previous manager, then yes, Craig Brown steadied the ship.

In a results-based business, Craig Brown was a dreadful manager for Aberdeen. If based on consistent poor league placings, then he is probably the worst.

QoTSA have a very good frontman tbf.

Got an excellent Homme record. Maybe even a few.

You wouldn't hear the great Skovdahl acting like such a bitter, twisted prick. Nor was he a fat, arrogant wanker. So to suggest Calderwood was in any a better manager is ludicrous. I'm glad the orange beaut is in such a mess. I remember hoping in 2006 he'd end up penniless, lonely and homeless, 2 out of 3 so far. Doubt it'll be long before he bags the hat-trick.
