perthshirered
He will throw defenders around like rag-dolls up here i reckon, pretty chuffed with this one.Imagine having a big, strong dominant striker up front at the start of last season when Fraser was putting over cross after cross, i think someone like this dude would have feasted on a supply like that. With Robson dead ball delivery and Hayes pinging balls across then i can see him scoring plenty. Foster14
Burton offered him a new deal, so it ain't like we are picking up League 2 rejects with this one. Link to comment
Mr Brightside
certainly adds a new dimension. Can see Vernon being moved on though if Mcinnes sees this guy leading the line with Hayes and McGinn along side him!! Link to comment

Karl Fletcher
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22812701 Gregg Wylde plus a new 'keeper and a left back will make for a fucking fantastic transfer window imo. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Keep following AFC Chat this summer for all the latest news on transfer activity! AFC Chat is hearing a strong rumour that AFC will unveil a new striker, possibly later today (18th June). We understand the player in question will sign on a free transfer, after coming to the end of his contract with an English League Two side. A goal-shy, journeyman for much of his career, this player certainly isn't going to shift many season tickets... However, on the plus side, he couldn't be any worse than Fallon and Vernon were last season and at the very least he's going to provide an intimidating physical presence (hopefully more Michael Higdon and less Tommy Wright!). We are also hearing the name of a goalkeeper. Player has good pedigree (has been on the books of two EPL clubs - but has played for neither) but is young (for a goalkeeper) and hasn't played much. Suggestions that this player is going to be brought in to compete with Jamie Langfield - however, reading between the lines, a lack of first team experience probably means that Clangers will begin the season as No. 1. Details are a bit sketchy at this point. Not sure whether goalkeeper will be brought in on loan or as a free transfer. No names for the moment, as this information is still unconfirmed rumour at this stage. Link to comment
