Guest
I really hope that comment doesn't come back and bite you on the arse. What's everyone's plans for before? I'm at the the races for a stag do the day before, so might just see if there's any pubs open near shitebrox for a quick one before. Anyone heading anywhere at 11am? Def agree with the lack of buzz/interest in this one compared to last time. Ironic when this is the 'bigger/more prestigious' cup. Yeah, think St Johntsone are in better shape now than when we met them in semi. You almost get the feeling that a League Cup win was enough to quench the thirst of most Aberdeen fans. We should be itching for the double as how many teams outwith oldco and Celtic have done that in recent memory? Last non OF team would have been us in 80's no? Link to comment

I meant a game against united or sevco would generate a much bigger buzz around the place but the fact it's against st johnstone doesn't create that excitement Link to comment
RUL
Where are you guys reading that this is the case. I can put my house on them HAVING to split the allocation 50/50 for either Utd or sevco, unless they have a genuine reason for safety reasons. There is absolutely no way, not even the slimmest of chances, that the SFA will try and dictate final ticket allocation dependent on semi final tickets sold. None. Nada. Niente. If it's Aberdeen V rangers...how do you suggest the police split it 50/50? It simply won't happen. I think it'll be 65/35 to rangers and they'll put it down to poor ticket sales. They've already started using the poor ticket sales at previous semi finals against dundee utd so I think it's fairly obvious where this is heading. Similarly i'd expect that we'd get the edge on tickets against utd...although ticket sales are fairly similar so who knows actually. Link to comment

We could have sold close to 45k for the LC final.... how does a 12:45 kick off on a Sunday at Ibrox against St Johnston have any bearing on a final? I'm sure there's every ability to segregate fans by using different turnstyles and using stewards as dividing line. And if you go by your logic, why not give Aberdeen the 65% seeing as we'd easy sell that. Sometimes I think you guys just look for an excuse to justify the bias that perhaps exists. Again, show me the document/quote that states that a final will be allocated per previous semi final ticket sales. Utter sh*te. Sorry. Link to comment
Stoney
attitude towards this game worries me, smacks of hibs 2011 game won before we get there. they seem to be doing ok just now Link to comment

tightbreeks
it's a total cliché at the moment. team wins big for the first time in a while and the next few games are a bit meh. just a few games left to turn it up a notch or two. get back to winning sharpish. Link to comment

daytripping
Sunday lunchtime kick off in Glasgow, fuck that, no way am I going. A day out at the football in the Central belt is just that, beers and the atmosphere pre game then more after, a day out, Saturday 3pm and I wouldn't miss it, Sunday lunchtime and the game on tv I'm not interested. The final will be 50/50 split. Link to comment
G31DON
Going to the match but do fear the atmosphere will be a bit flat, especially the early kick off.2-1 to the Dons Link to comment
Guest
already started a thread on this huns get to final with us and we are getting 20k max But you didn't substantiate any of your claims and it never hit the press. Therefore, I treat it as rubbish rumour until otherwise proved wrong. Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Going by the highlights St Johnstone put in a pretty good shift at Rugby Park. Played some decent stuff. Link to comment
elephantstone78
That's what I was thinking. I have a bad feeling about Sunday. Will wear my lucky cup final pants to be on the safe side. As an aside anyone know if that shit hole pub just round the corner from greyskull is still open. The one we used to have one half and the Hun hordes the other half. Crazy atmosphere then walking a gauntlet of hate with police escort to the game. Link to comment

They really are a bitter bunch. That said if the shoe was on the other foot I wouldn't want them in any of our bars, but that's probably more to do with them trashing the place.
