Less than 18,000 would be a disgrace. It's nae a cup final though :-) I'll be really disappointed if we don't get 18k.The players and management deserve that. Link to comment
Mouse
To be honest we deserve a sell out for this Saturday. We need to be cementing this 2nd place finish Link to comment
mavv1903
I agree, needs to be a sellout..if it isnt shame on some of the 40000 there yesterday...The game after we win a trophy it should sell out no problem surely... Link to comment
StandFree1982
A "healthy" 15k would be acceptable. If we took back even 10% of the people who went yesterday to Pittodrie on a weekly basis it would go a long way in a) helping the team on the pitch, b) reducing our debt and c) increasing the playing budget to bring in the players we need. a don in oz
It would be wonderful if the place packed out to give them a Pittodrie welcome back but it's going to be 12-15k if we're really lucky isn't it? Hopefully wrong, would love a great big home crowd to try and take some of the belief and momentum from winning the cup forward into the league. Link to comment
RUL
I'd say anything around 15k would be great but reckon 12,500 Link to comment
Parklife
i'll be there. I think we'll be close to a sell-out. Link to comment
King Street Loon
As it stands i won't be there. Pissed off about this, as i'll miss the parade too. Link to comment
Tord31
Injured: Pawlett & Hayes We might need to shuffle our tactics a tad for this one without our best two attacking players of 2014, maybe more importantly the real pace of the team and maybe keeping it fresh a little bit too. I am going for a curve ball reprieve for either Scott Vernon or even Calvin Zola this weekend. Of course I am not the manager and it is a test of his abilities to keep up our creativity from open play going over the next few weeks without our heavy reliance on the two players mentioned so interesting to see how he approaches it. Either revert to 4-4-2 or put absolute faith in Cammy Smith to step up. ebbe
working Saturday, hopefully I get away for it. the team deserve a great reception and the place to be heaving. hoping for an optimistic 17,500 thousand there. a lot of the fans who made a massive effort to get to the final should do the same at the weekend. fine-n-dandy
Team have been tremendous of late but I think this game will be a real struggle for them.To lift themselves (especially without two of best players) again for this game will take some effort. If they can win this game (regardless of how they do it) I will be hugely impressed with them all things considered.I'm obviously hugely impressed anyway but will certainly not be too harsh on them for dropping points in this game if they do. Hopefully the buzz of the cup win is enough to get them to swagger through the game. Fantastic win if we get it.Be nice if Well & ICT draw as well, or ICT win even. Link to comment
Bamber
Thing is we will have 40000+ at the final. The Evening express will report 30000 on sunday no doubt this should be at least in the top 3 largest home gate of the season So far they are 200171663413940 so averaging that is 16863 We don't beat that its shocking......... Club need to put on stuff - let us know the trophy will be walked around the pitch after the game, do a draw with these kids that are getting the frees - 50 of them as escorts Get the old guard out in force - show the baton is being handed over from the class of 83 to the class of 2014 lets see them and hear them Oh and do killie do a guard of honour??? Byrne Baby Byrne
Think Killie are getting to play us at a good time. I think we'll struggle. I don't think we've actually played well since Celtic Park. But considering we've won the league cup, progressed to the scottish cup semis and beat celtic again in that time I'm really not complaining. I think this will finish 0-0. I think McInnes will go...
