Tord31
Still got down Considine as first choice left back but obviously things not shaping up like that - one area to watch. Obviously we are still targeting at least two more players - a left back and another option in attacking midfield Link to comment
Poodler
You're saying based on ability and you've put Langfield first. Does disability count too? Link to comment
Tord31
Its a mix of my opinion and what is actually happening. Stick on Langfield is in sticks for the July fixtures I am afraid. Think it is looking that way for the august fixtures aswell but we will see Link to comment

Change Robertson as well. Worst left back at the club. Link to comment
Tord31
Despite McInnes saying we will only sign one more player it has generally been accepted we'll get two. Those being a left back and an additional player for the three behind the striker in McInnes' preferred 4-2-3-1. Observations from watching our first three games of the season would be if, big IF, we could sufficiently replace Johnny Hayes then perhaps we can leave him at left back and sign two further attacking options. Also it is interesting we have no targetman this season must be first time in my time. Not even any one to launch ball at in desperation - a big statement if we keep as is. Link to comment
King Street Loon
We are screaming out for someone else with a bit of creativity. Someone with something different than we've already got. What that is I don't know though. Link to comment

I reckon one more permanent signing if right player comes along (hopefully left back) and a loan signing, which will be a young attacking midfielder in mould of the Wolves guy. If we could achieve this then would be more than happy with squad for this season. Link to comment

Or, call me feil, but we could try sign an actual left back and get Hayes's arse back up the park? 1 Link to comment

Tord31
Yes I agree but we seem to be struggling to sign a good defender. No brainer if we can sign someone as good as Logan and a lot better than Hayes for left back but wont be a doddle as he is not too shabby there. Link to comment
Sonoftherock
Is Shinnie the only left back in the world? Not 100% certain, but I think so.... Surely if there were other left backs in existence, Aberdeen Football Club would have tried to capture one of these mythical beasts over the past few years? Link to comment
