Bluto10
Not much between real/barca and Chelsea. English clubs for whatever reason don't actually care about the EL so 6 of ten winners means nothing. Who is a second tier club in England? Spurs? Everton?I think they'd hold their own against Valencia, Bilbao etc. Link to comment

Also seem to remember Villareal beating Everton in CL qualifiers but that was ages ago. Link to comment
E-P-K
Yep. Spanish football is where footballers go to score loads of goals. Its a joke league. As for Rinaldo I'm as big a fan as the next man but I take his goal scoring feats with a pinch of salt. Naturally a huge slice of them are racked up against shite. In the last 15 years there has been 5 different league winner in La Liga, in the same time in The EPL, there has been 4... Also, last season - La LIga, 380 games, total goals 1045, average 2.75 goals per game Bundisliga 306 games, total goals 957. average 3.13 goals per game EPL, 380 games, total goals 1052, average 2.77 goals per game Serie A, 380 games, total goals 1045, average 2.73 goals per game. Kinda blows your comments about lots of goals, and a joke league out of the water Bloots. Link to comment
Bluto10
That's the average.I'm talking about Rinaldo and messi. Both scoring 40 odd goal a year.Mostly against rubbish like getafe after spending 100m pounds on a footballer Its nae football. Itshollywood Link to comment
Bluto10
You're also comparing a day asty in England with normalpattern in Spain epk min. Fergies time at MU skews the figures,is an anomaly and that success winna be repeated again. Link to comment

ItshollywoodGive it a rest for fuck sake. Ronaldo bangs them in against every team in Spain and in England. He's imporoved considerably since Man United days. Think how good they would have been if they'd had the current day Ronaldo. He's the greatest football player on the planet by a considerable distance. (Obviously I can't include myself in this assessment as that's favouritism) Link to comment

Here's one for you.You like stats so go and give me a breakdown of messis and ronnys hat tricks. I'd be genuinely interested to know who they are scored against.Happy to be proved wrong but I suspect, in the main, they cone against getafe esque dross. Link to comment

tightbreeks
foreign cameramen and directors are much better than british ones. they pan back a bit so you can actually see what's going all over the pitch, instead of just a wee pocket high-def show off closer up one we have on sky and bbc. Bluto10
Arsenal are rubbish. They've been rubbish for Yeats. Players like Walcott, ox, cathorla, rosicky etc just aren't good enough to get to CL finals or top spot in the domestic league. And that's their strong point - attack. 1 Link to comment
E-P-K
Even Barca in there prime would not have had 6 players attacking in the 94th minute while leading 3-2. Self destruction at its finest. Link to comment
Bluto10
He has done an amazing job making them competitive, and semi relevant, on a relativerelative shoestring. But when will Walcott actually become.e a big player? He's been around ages. Less of the splattergun cheap buys - arteta, etc - and more of the ozil and Sanchez putchases would see arsenal progress.
