Wouldn't change too much from Wednesday. No point in rushing Jack in to the team and risking him given Flood and Robsons performances in midweek.

Maybe swap McLean in for Pawlett. No need for mass changes, disrupts things too much, don't see why folk want to put Goodwillie and Shankland in when the team are playing well enough.

Not sure about a Flood Robson Midfield.

Hopefully Jack is back, happy for either of Robbo or Flood to partner him and the rest of Tords line up looks good to me.

Someone suggesting 4-4-2 would be more attacking, i've no idea why since we have shown time and time again that this system doesn't work 9 times out of 10. Its not more attacking its just archaic. 4-4-2 is gone folks, just let it go.

To be more attacking we need to win possession then flood players forward more quickly - not play 2 up.

So variations on 1 up front are really the most we can expect. 1 Up is the way now, and the trick is to get the correct support up there are the right time.

How about a slight tweak -

Brown

Logan Taylor Reynolds Considine

Jack

McLean Robson

McGinn Hayes

Rooney

What are the cons of a plastic pitch these days?

Recently I've heard Hughes, Delia and even McInnes admit they enjoyed playing on it once it had a bit of moisture (which surely isn't hard to artificially replicate)

The Qots pitch against the huns looked pretty good as well, surely got to be better playing on a bumpy, bobbly pitch such as Pittodrie.

Pawlett deserved to be dropped

Robson as much as we wanted him to start would have struggled with two games in four days and would certainly have needed to be subbed so perhaps safer to save the subs incase any injuries

Taylor would be the only one that could argue given he was out for 2 months with a knee injury is a precaution but can also argue Daniels is ready to come in having missed out the last 2.5 games
