CraigHill
Probably a few hundred from Aberdeen.Hunners of cars and bikes travelling towards the city adorning flags with drivers / riders / passengers thumping chests as they went.I guess the central belt will have had a day with a few thousand less slaverers. 1 Link to comment
Jocky Balboa
It's very slow, but there is a sea change I'm seeing in both Scotland and Northern Ireland. The Unionists are getting fewer, but more belligerent and Hunnish in their behaviour. Their empire belongs in the dustbin of history, just like Communism and Fascism. Link to comment

For Fecks Sake
Politics, pah its all a pile of shite these days and in my opinion each party is only interested in point scoring and getting one over their rivals than coming up with real policies and solutions to drive the country forward. As a yes / leave voter I am under no illusion that either scenario will be a utter shit show for a period of time but I genuinely think that they will be the best options in the long run. Can see a third referendum coming in the next few years but unfortunately I think we will have the same result as last time - close but no cigar. SNP are suffering from being a party in power for too long and they have become stale and dare I say it arrogant. Tories, well what can I say about that lot that has not already been covered here and as for Labour, faced with the worst Govt for a long time they are still behind them in the polls due to having a communists in charge. Everyone is allowed to have their opinion on things and it's bugs me people who make sweeping generalisations (i.e. You voted leave you must be a racist biggot or you voted Yes so you must be a flag waving nationalist), fail to understand that people may have a different outlook on things than them or pick out bits from a story / event and proclaim it to be gospel. Classic example, @@caledonia, go show me where you have read that this is a done deal and will be happening. You can't, you have read the articles in today's papers that say a think tank has proposed such a scheme (I notice that you fail to mention the supposed £182 billion boost to the economy such a move would make but hey let's ignore one set of facts and concentrate on the other) but such a policy would prove so unpopular with the public that the chances of it being implemented are next to zero. If anything Politics provides great laughs on this thread! 2 Link to comment

As for it not happening it already happening re pensions I heard it on the Radio and seen it in the papers and a Government think tank with IDS has suggested it so safe to presume its on the way Remember this is the Tories we are on about Link to comment

Jocky Balboa
Never realised you lived in NI JockyUnfortunately, yes, I married a Belfast Wifie a number of years back and moved out when I got the dunt during oil downturn. At least my wife and kids all have Irish passports, which will help wade through the Brexit shite storm whatever happens. I'm planning our escape back to Scotland ASAP though. I was going to say that I'd then be able to get ST's for Pittodrie for me and my kids, but given the hoofball merchants we've become, they'd probably see that as corporal punishment (though not as bad as living in Bigotsville, ha) Link to comment
