strachanmcgheegoal
"Lewis goes long as the rest of the team look to manage the game out" is going to be a phrase we hear a lot of. "Hamilton go three up" is unlikely to be ever heard again. Link to comment

The Oxford Don
A win's a win at this stage. Just ask Hibs or Rangers. Happy enough with that. Link to comment
Oregon Red
Not the best but with May we got a great striker who can conjur up a great goal when you are in trouble. Link to comment
Crashnyploshnit
Seems Dundee pushed us but a win is a win. 1 Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Great result in the end but for such an attack filled side to only have 10 shots on goal at home v Dundee is pretty gash.FFS we nearly scored that many against them away from home lol Link to comment
Oregon Red
I thought bringing on Stewart changed the game in our favour. He looks slow but looks are decieving..and he is tough to knock off the ball.O'Connor had a good game..that cant be said for the rest of the defence! Link to comment
Chewie37
Our new Spanish striker Juan Knee, showing the way to goal Link to comment
V for Vendetta
Best 2 players today were O'Connor and May I think. Stewart looked lively when he came on. O'Connor defended really well I thought and made some good passes out of defence.May got 2 decent goals and worked hard, looking much sharper than Maynard or Rooney did when they came on in the second half. Worst 2 IMO: Christie and Considine. McLean almost making the worst performers list as well but battled quite hard on that last 10 mins to help get us over the line. Christie just had a terrible game, he got nothing right.Considine is so poor when we need to go up that left flank its really frustrating, teams turn him inside easily and he either makes a simple square pass or lobs some easily defended ball forward. McLean as I said earlier, shouldn't play in that forward 4, he is far too ponderous on the ball and too obvious with most of what he does IMO. Much better suited to playing the deeper central area I think. I really hope we've got a bit of budget to bring in a decent pacey LB even on a loan or the balls to give Harvie his chance. I like Consi but the team is unbalanced with him out there on the left, its holding us back now. 3 Link to comment
Ke1t
Not every game's a walk in the park, but if you can grind out a win anyway... May getting on the scoresheet, and Stewart's brilliant run into the box late on, show that maybe we're sorted in the striker department, Link to comment
Reed or deed
Credit to Dundee, but we are just simply better. Link to comment
DelMonte
What a difference a striker like that makes. Said for years we can improve in the striker posistion and we have. Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
Lovely radio moment at the end. Rob Maclean approaching vinegar strokes telling us Dundee have one last chance to load the box, to get their big men up, to steal the point.... The next sound you hear is Stephen Thompson vomiting and neil McCann's already enlarged head exploding as the dee play it short to (I think) Shinnie. Ha fucking ha. (((Btw openly admit that Hamilton result last week had totally passed me by. Fucking artificial pitches!))) Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Poor performance but another 3 points. Bit fortunate as Allan missed a sitter at 1-1 and we scored when they had 2 off the park injured. Logan looked crocked at the end, can't afford to lose him to injury. Defence looked nervous. We need a centre half big time. Link to comment
Brochman
Maybe at last we have a genuine creative striker. Was disappointed that McInnes hooked Tansey instead of Shinnie who had an abysmal game. He was a liability at times. Defence all over the place but nothing new there. Link to comment
starryfish
Don't think I've seen Reynolds have a poorer game and that's saying something. Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Would also have left on May for potential home debut hairtrick & subbed off Christie for Wright instead Link to comment
