No dispute.

Decision has been made by the appropriate authority.

WANK's wanking themselves into a frenzy isn't controversial, it's just amusing

Indeed. A small minority of backward cunts whinging to anyone that will listen is not controversial.

Controversial?! Where is the controversy he alluded to in the headline? Doesn't appear anywhere in the article.

Fucking idiot. It's been overwhelmingly supported....although, for Aberdeen, that's probably what he means by controversial.

The WANKS making a lot of noise isn't really a dispute.

But it's not just them opposed to Kingsford is it?

Thousands of people objected to it on the council website.

There are thousands of Aberdeen fans who are also opposed to it.

Many councillors, MPs and MSPs objected to it.

You can't just dismiss the opposition as being just a few nimbys in Westhill, when there are thousands of people dead against it happening.

Ah, I get it. So that's why journalists put 'controversial' in every headline because it is ALWAYS relevant. Everything is controversial.

For example, the bbc cunts today led with - "Hamilton lay new 'controversial' pitch".

- "Barton 'controversially' backs Gerard to be incredible". Etc etc.

No that didn't happen though did it. The arsehole 'journo' led with the word controversial when it isn't actually relevant.

I pointed out in a post in the hope that ABZ RED would bite....he did. Lol

Looks like we have jumped the gun. We havent notified the council we were starting the work.... the no lot all over it.

Might be right, might not be right.

If the proper paperwork isn't in place, the Cooncil will likely tell Bert et al to stop until the paperwork is sorted.

A delay of what, a few days?

Once in place, the diggers will crack on.

Big whoop.

...that's if the WANKs arent talking shite like they have a propensity so to do.

5.5 Failure to submit the notice before starting work is a breach of planning control. With regard to enforcement action, an informal approach is probably sufficient to result in a notice being submitted, albeit late. Planning authorities should also bear in mind, however, whether any suspensive conditions may apply to the development, any breach of which might necessitate further or more formal action.

Looks like one of the suspensive conditions may be how we are going to landscape the site hardly going to stop digging a big whole in the ground

Just remember at the time seeing names of people objecting on the council website. I recognised a few of the names on there, whole families who I know / know of who had objected individually and on behalf of their infant children and pet dogs.

Its amazing some of them have the cheek to complain about AFC trying to do anything underhand after all theyve been up to so far.

Council have been a bit slow and had a target of 24 May

In Post about 5 above - probably a quick chat - may well even be "you have no building warrants - don't build a thing but you can clear the site"

A beacon of common sense amongst the fanatics.

20,000 seater stadium and training complex breaking every rule in the book, approved next to where a 10 man driving range was rejected for light, green belt and all that shite.

Just re read the press release

Project director Raymond Edgar added: “This contract award is another major milestone in our journey towards facilities from which the club and the wider community will benefit.

“We are erecting security fencing around the boundary of the site. This is a safety measure and part of the preparation for the groundworks contractor getting underway in a few weeks.

“This will ensure that we can start the work as soon as the contracts have been awarded and the relevant planning conditions have been finalised, ensuring we remain within our original timescales for the delivery of phase one which includes the community sports hub and training facilities.”

we even admitted it - we aren't doing any building warrant type work we are making the site safe and secure and doing this while waiting for the planning conditions to be finalised by a slow council

Aye sounds like they've got their knickers in a twist over nothing

To be fair by the letter they are probably right - but they would raise merry hell if some one was walking their dog across the site and it twisted its leg in a rabbit hole

As a responsible neighbour AFC did caring for the local community and making sure it is a safe area
