V for Vendetta
Dunno He not thick as mince? I've never met him so I can't judge really. Certainly seems a bit rougher round the edges than McInnes is but that's not to say he couldn't be a manager. Do we have anyone else within the club who could step up? (purely as a theoretical question) Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Management material one day maybe?Talks a decent game at least when doing pundit stuff but then again so does Chris Sutton sometimes. At least he seems to have tactical awareness Link to comment

Tord31
worth catching DM's bbc interview for some reason he mentions he's cheap as chips - three timesonly wanted to sign him for next season - bizarre rattled by how shite a signing the guy has looked? 1 Link to comment
Dunty
worth catching DM's bbc interview for some reason he mentions he's cheap as chips - three timesonly wanted to sign him for next season - bizarre rattled by how shite a signing the guy has looked?"He is only a young boy; in footballing terms he is probably 18 [rather than 21]," he told BBC Scotland. "He wasn't meant to be signing until the summer but he was cheap as chips. "It was good to see him involved in the goals. He had such a difficult debut, the embarrassment of that. "He gave us some balance to the team. We have got a lot of nice, quick, technical players and sometimes you need to offset that with something else. "Sam at least gave us a focal point and hopefully he will feel more accepted now on the back of that." Don't see anything there that could be considered bizarre. Just a manager offering praise to a young player who has been unfairly judged based on a couple of sub appearances. 1 Link to comment
Yorston Vasey
There's potential there, but we don't do very well with players with potential. If he'd been decent 4 years ago then he'd be a cert for a prolonged run in the team. 1 Link to comment
thomsod
What does he mean by saying he's 18 in footballing terms? Like technically limited? Link to comment
Scotty_Toronto
Not yet as advanced or 'mature' in experience at this level. (McKenna would be about 25!) Link to comment

Don Fonte
Thought he played pretty well tonight, especially first half. When I saw the team thought it was a terrible decision but I'd probably start him over Rooney next game. Link to comment
Oregon Red
Well at least he doesnt throw his elbows around at every challenge like Jayden.I think he will develope into a nice player..probably make some money on him too after a couple of years. Link to comment
HairyPie
Decent enough first half, disappeared second. He bulleted a header that their 'keeper had to make a great save to keep out in the second. About the only service he got in that half. Had a decent game and held the ball up better than I've seen a striker do for The Dons in yonks. 1 Link to comment

RAZOR
This would be his 3rd attempt at the 'Big Man' up front signing. We all miss the 2nd one so much that he signed a doppelganger. For what it's worth. I think he'll at very least be more effective than Maynard. Link to comment
