Hall Of Fame (Scotland)

Recommended Posts

Gascoigne is going to be inducted.

I shook my head.

I didn't mind Gascoigne.

They say madness is a prerequisite for true genius, and the guy was certainly that.

I'd argue that the impact a player had is more important than how long he stuck around... but if it were down to length of time served then Zander Diamond would be ahead of guys like Laudrup, Gascoigne, Gillhaus, thon Black Swedish Tim whose name I forget (legendary), and on a par with Joey Harper.

Anyway, Gascoigne... brilliant player, serpent of a human being.

he played in scotland for what 2 and a half years, how does that qualify him for any hall of fame

someone nominate zoltan varga quickly

not even a tenth of the player he was at Newcastle.

bit like George best at Hibs.

joke for him to be held in this regard.

clown of a club.

Yep, the record would consider my indifference to a stranger worse than PG knocking fuck out of his wife.

They gave about the same amount of coverage to someone allegedly throwing a plastic cup at Neil Lennon, or a notepad at Baboon-arse face, as they did the Huns ripping Manchester city center to pieces, so you know you're right.

I can't think of anything I'd like to do less than suffer through speaking to some sub-intelligent, whisky-breathed, whiny-voiced Hun 'journalist' as he tried to convince me that not giving a fuck about Gascoigne living or dying was worse than the Holocaust and the Rape of Nanking combined.

I'd sooner see us re-sign Aluko.

Was that at Pittodrie?

I recall him being pretty much unplayable that day.

Like others have said, brilliant player, but absolute wife beating basket case.

No. It was at Ibrox.

He fouled an Aberdeen player at every goal and any other player would have been sent off.

It was at Ibrox, I only remember this as I watched it in a bar in Hamburg.

I'm sure it was the same game that Andy Cameron was attacked by a dons fan before the match started as well.
