super_al
Alex Neil would want control over recruitment and Cormack said that they want a head coach model. Therefore I can't believe Alex Neil is an option. Link to comment

ericblack4boss
That would be a blow to his ego, However a job that is probably befitting of his ability and talent,. Will get them up the league, could just challenge for play offs with a following wind, Obviously the other club that plays in black and white stripes ( Newcastle) have missed the boat Link to comment

RED_JOHN
I hadn’t realised Peter Grant had been sacked? If McInnes can keep his wit’s about him he can surely hold off for the Spurs job. Nuno will be relieved of his duty today. Link to comment

sooth_stander
If AFC are still paying his wages till May 2022, then he’s taking a hooruva wage cut, albeit he’ll probably get another season or two beyond that from The Pars. Link to comment
Ten Caat
For what he's likely to earn, he's not going to be interested. Dunfermline isn't far enough away from his Renfrewshire home that it's worthwhile renting a flat in the area. But it's adding over an hour's journey each way to his working day. And of course, if he didn't get them promotion next season (or prevent relegation this season) he'd be considered a failure and then his dreams of ever managing down south again would go completely up in smoke. For now its only the Edinburgh clubs that will interest him up here. Even United and St J don't pay enough despite them having a bit of sentimental value having played for or managed them. But if he's not found a job down south in a year to 18 months time they'll probably become more appealing as will Motherwell and St Mirren and a promoted Killie......when it finally dawns on him there really isn't much interest in his services from the type of clubs he feels there should be from Link to comment

RED_JOHN
McInnes isn’t at all rated. He done a mediocre job with us and Milne made him out to be a messiah. He actually gave up as manager of Aberdeen which was a terrible attitude to have and I reckon it didn’t go unnoticed by clubs. He won’t ever get a better job than being manager of the Dons….and now he definitely knows it. 4 Link to comment
