I'm going to put it out there that for us as fans, we know what the answer is but I suspect Cormack will say player value. Link to comment

Totally agree Take him out of the starting line up, look after him and use him as a sub until his form and confidence returns. Will be best for him and the club in the long run Link to comment
King Street Loon
Cormack doesn't pick the team. Should be zero interference from him in that regard. Glass should be strong enough to pick the best XI available to him. That doesn't include Ramsay at the moment for me. Link to comment
Geoff_Tipps
Should have accepted the offer for 4.8m if it was actually offered. Whilst he has talent, I wouldn't say I have ever been blown away by his talent or potential. Still young mind, but we have a nasty habit of refusing high offers and then going to sell at a fraction of the price. Link to comment
Oakbank50
Ramsay like all young players shows his lack of experience in his positional and decision making he will make mistakes until he matures he should be not playing every game and his coaches must be aware of this Link to comment

Byrne Baby Byrne
He got torn a new one plenty of times at the start of the season, as level headed experts like myself pointed out. The assists have dried up because the team aren't attacking very well in general. Link to comment
Jazzer08
If Ramsay is going to play then I'd be more inclined to have him further up the pitch (more in a winger role or even as a right sided forward/attacking midfielder) and have McCrorie at right back, at least until he's had more time to firm up on the defensive side of his game, which on one or two occasions has cost us. I think he can be really effective running at defenders (one of the few players that appear capable of taking on and beating his man) and getting balls into the box, and I believe he would make better choices with the ball than Ojo in threatening positions (generally speaking). Having slightly less responsibility on the defensive side of things (I'm not saying there would be none, since the team really need to defend as a whole) might have less of an affect on his current confidence levels. That being, and as a few others have said, perhaps a wee rest wouldn't do him any harm. He may also have been rushed back from injury a little too soon, since we were seemingly quite reliant on him for assisting on a few goals earlier in the season. Link to comment

Imo his attitude is really poor at the moment. Another example of where we should have taken the big bucks when we had the chance I think Link to comment
Ernie McCracken
If they want big bucks for him. They need to get him playing under a decent manager. Glass is ruining him. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
If we can't drop young players when it's in their and the team's best interests for fear of not getting maximum 'value' then we've got our priorities mixed up. As well as having a dubious duty of care to young players. Link to comment

Dandyesque
McCrorie was outstanding at right back last night. I agree it would be worth trying Ramsay ahead of him with Hayes on the other side We might then have a modicum of pace in the team, adding Vinnie Beejesus. Link to comment

StandFree1982
Get rid in the summer if a decent bid comes in. He's gone massively off the boil since Christmas and hasn't looked close to the player that broke into the side. Link to comment

slippers
Hopefully keep a hold of him another season. Such a top talent that gets ridiculous criticism at times. Looking forward to breaking our transfer record with him! Link to comment
Hoofball
I’d be giving him a new contract. I know it sounds mental but once the gets to grips with what Goodwin wants him to do and his form picks up the offers will come in and his contract will be 6-12 months shorter. New contract shows Aberdeen believe in him and he’ll know he ain’t been great lately so more chance he’ll sign Link to comment
Byrne Baby Byrne
Nathan Patterson got called up for Scotland after playing half a game against Boreham Wood and getting hooked at half time before Calvin Ramsay.... and nobody is even raging about it this time. Shows how much the hype has died down on him! Link to comment
Schapenneuker
I'm actually surprised that Goodwin has persisted with Ramsey as right back, given that in one of his last games as St Mirren boss Ramsey was (partly) culpable for Saints winning goal. It's becoming a bit of trademark for him....a long ball in from our left wing and Ramsey is sleeping as the opposition player slips in front or behind him. There's still a shitload of potential there, but there's not much use having a defender in the team that just can't defend. He's also so short of confidence just now, he's not much use going forward. Personally, I would give him a rest until the end of the season and get Ojo in there. At the moment he's a better defender than Ramsey. Link to comment
Don_Corleone
Sassuolo? Is that a made up team. Never heard of them. It has been about 30 years since I watched Gazzetta Football Italia though to be fair. Link to comment

Don_Corleone
Sassuolo... allegedly 9th in Seria A. Has anyone else ever heard of them before? There's a team in there called Spezia as well. The once mighty Parma sitting 14th in Seria B. This is what happens when you stop playing Championship Manager, not a clue what's going on outside Scotland any more. 1 Link to comment
