Ke1t
I wouldn't rate this as highly as the 2-0 win over the French, but it's definitely in a better resolution. 1 Link to comment
alscotoz
Great result. Hopefully the draw is kind. Helluva journey to qualify now. Link to comment

Dynamo
Best Scotland performance since dispatching Ukraine 3-1 in 2007. Got a chance with a home tie. North Macedonia would be the best draw. Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
A quick playback of the highlights before work. I’d forgotten the third “goal” - the cross field pass from McGinn, squared by Adams to Armstrong at the back post. Would have been an absolute stunner. Lewis would have smashed it. Or Turnbull. It was great defending by their captain. The guy anticipated the ball across and moved back over towards Armstrong before Adams had headed it Link to comment

Thanks for digging this out. Had thought it was earlier than than 89. Also, just looked up the Spain game, and it ended 3-1. I also remember reading an article that quoted the Spanish press calling Jim Bett “the knife” or “the cut” because of his passing ability. Link to comment

I skipped school to go to the Spain game, drinking warm Carlsberg Special Brew on the milk train back to Aberdeen, missed the next day due to a combination of getting home at 3 in the morning and a massive hangover. Ramandu
The passage of play leading up to the first half chance where Adams should have played in Robertson was brilliant. Lovely one touch football starting at the edge of our own box. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
I excluded it due to Robertsons propensity to fire them over the bar! Link to comment

ericblack4boss
Was mentioned last night that it would be just like Scotland to beat Austria to a play off spot, then go out to them in a play off, it's a new way for us to exit Link to comment
King Street Loon
Brilliant game to watch last night. It's enjoyable watching Scotland again. For too long finding something else to do was more appealing. Link to comment

RED_JOHN
The good thing about last night was the balance of the team. We looked like a team who had played a lot together previously (which obviously wasn’t the case). Link to comment
