When does the transfer window close anyway? Is it this weekend?

Snodgrass and Rogic still going free. Get Rogic in for a couple seasons rather than Ronan if we still feel the need for a midfielder. Interesting that we've not signed any foreign defenders yet - must be a young foreign defender we're keeping tabs on in the mould of Besoujin, Duk, Miovski etc.

If we can't get Rogic let's ask Modric

Rogic is being offered nothing anywhere else, so why wouldn't he take any form of deal?

Excellent signing and don't ask don't get.

Far better than Ronan IMO.

Believe he has actually turned down multiple lucrative offers from clubs in England, Europe, Middle east, far East and Australia and he could have stayed at Celtic too but ripped up the final year of his contract there. Seems that he wanted time away from the game to assess what he wants to do and was not sure if he actually wants to play football at all anymore. An Oz journalist was suggesting that he may now have retired from the game for good.

Goodwin now appears to have changed his tune about the transfer window deadline. Saying now there's no pressing need for us to enter the market unless the right player becomes available. Said we also have Barron and Roberts to return so i'm thinking we've been turned down by Ronan (or Wolves) and we have decided right now not to go after somebody else.

Yeah looks like it will all be boys leaving rather than anything coming in. Was sure we wid bring at least 1 in, still think we could do we a Right Back and a Midfielder that can play that defence splitting pass, ah well always Jan.

It'd put a right back higher on the pecking order - Richardson just doesn't seem to want to defend and that drags Stewart out of position as well.

The distance between Stewart and Richardson when defending against Livingston on Saturday was about 3 times the distance between Coulson and Scales.

It's no wonder we've got gaps down our right hand side.  The wingers we have on that side aren't particularly keen to defend either so it just magnifies the problem.

Whether Richardson is being asked to play this way or isn't aware of the problem is unknown.

There are definitely some positives for this season... scoring goals - 28 in 10 games... not conceding too many - 7 in 10 games.

There are still glaring deficiencies, as has been shown in the games against Celtic and Motherwell, the first 30/40 minutes versus 11 men against St Mirren and Livingston and the 90 minutes last night against Annan.

If Goodwin is happy with the squad and doesn't think there is any urgency to get anyone else in then fair enough, it'll come back to bite him though if there are many more performances like last night. If we'd been playing a slightly better team last night we'd be out of the cup already.

Not much actually. Been waiting to try and get Ronan.

So is it now 100% that Ronan is staying at Wolves as the press are suggesting? It seemed earlier in the week that Lage was hinting that another loan was likely but now its being said that he is staying despite not making the bench for recent games and still being "tired" from an under 21 game 6 days after it took place. Does he not fancy the move? or is it Wolves decision?
