VAR in the SPFL

VAR is clearly being abused.

It's up to the clubs to do something about it.

They won't, because the clubs are cowards.

So VAR is worse than useless. It's a tool that's being used to reinforce the corruption of the Scottish game.

Of course it is. It's a tool to facilitate referees in their dodgy decision making all over Europe.

Clubs need to call this out

what is wrong with them accepting this pish biased stuff week after week.

we are no better anyone called out the ref/var decision not to send off celtic player who clearly should have been for a second yellow.

To be fair, he should never have received a yellow card for his first.

Why don’t we ask to hear the Audio for the 2 handballs by Goldson.

Sky (Kenny Miller) tried to say ref blew his whistle which was not true especially the first.

If they can ask to hear the audio surly we can as well instead of sucking it up all the time.

Aitken should be nowhere near VAR during a Rangers game as he has admitted he supports them by asking to ref one of their friendly matches.

Everyone knows he is a Rangers man but we just bend over and over.

Does Neil Warnock know penalties have been given to the huns all season for less.

There might be a way of getting round VAR refs conveniently missing or ignoring decisions.

Each team should be given a VAR button. It could be used by someone on their bench but probably better by someone watching the match on a monitor in the stand.

Each team gets one VAR review per half. The button should be activated within 10 seconds of an incident occurring and the review commenced at the next natural break in play eg a throw in, corner etc. Should the review be upheld, that team retains the review as in cricket. Of course the VAR official can still review incidents even though a team hasn't used their button on it.

Best way around is just to get rid of it. A load of shit, cheaply implemented just so Scottish refs still qualify for UEFA/FIFA competitions.

Until we can get 30 cameras and massive TV screens at every game to show the fans what's being looked at, VAR can get to fuck.

You can't even celebrate a goal properly now.

Or an overrule button like on Tenable.
