He’s gone up a level, and is working his arse off in games.

The goals were always there, but the all round game & his work-rate has definitely improved.

When, not if, he gets his big move, he’ll have earned it.  
He’s clearly playing for it.   
I’d guess Seria A would be his next destination. 
Hopefully not until next summer though. 
We can’t afford to lose him in January.

Totally agree that he has improved to another level this season.

His movement, intelligent runs and finishing were very good last season but the past month his touch on the ball, link up play, hold up play and even work rate have been a totally different level to where it was in the past.

The thing I noticed about him last night (apologies if this has already been mentioned) was at several points he was basically trying to drag players to push up and press along with him. 

There were times last season where he hid a bit when the chips were down, but he feels like one of the leaders out there now

Dunno why the press wasn't really working last night cause it was clearly part of the tactics, but fair play to him for demanding more from those around him

Because they are technically superior and can play around it no bother. 
 

Trying to press with 3 CBs is difficult because once the first line is broken the next is generally outnumbered and the CBS will generally stay in position. 
 

We aren't compact enough to do it really, really well.

Not no bother. It did cause them trouble on a few occasions, usually where they put the ball out. We weren't quick enough to do anything with it though. They only managed to properly play through it a couple of times, most of the times they retained the ball long enough that we had to back off.

Agree that we didn't do it that well though.
