Cal Roberts

Goodwin said: "The scans for Coulson's injury were actually better than first feared initially. This weekend is going to come too soon for him unfortunately but he will be back in the squad in the early part of next week.

"Roberts unfortunately, his one is worse than we thought initially and it looked and it looks as though Callum is going to be out for quite a significant period of time.

"It's a hamstring unfortunately in the tendon just behind his knee, so he'll go see a specialist this afternoon (August 11) and then there will be a decision made next week about how to treat that but it is looking at probably eight to 10 weeks I would imagine."

Looks like just guesswork at the moment and will depend on what the specialist says today before they have a better idea. Did Watkins not end up out for about 5 months when he did his hamstring injury that first season he was on loan with us?

Anyway bad luck for the lad and wish him a speedy recovery.

Minijc first with breaking the news again yesterday too. Spot on with what you said.

Just confirms we should keep Duncan in the squad til at least January

yeah, totally agree. JG has mentioned a few times that he was definitely keeping RD until Jan in any case. But I thought when Roberts arrived that it would maybe make more sense to loan him out for more game time as they both play same role in that they like to play wide right and come inside onto left foot or can play as number 10. but with this injury you would expect he will now have more opportunities to show off his undoubted talent and potential.

Think it might give Goodwin a bit of leverage with Cormack on a deal for Ronan if the prick is in any way interested in signing

They've both been at Notts County, but I think Richardson was on loan there from Forest.

This site is very up to date/useful, but understanding players transfer/loan history is confusing:

who cares , he's either good for us or not and so far we have seen jack shit . If he gets over his injury and shows something then fair dues but until then .... looks like another  waste of space
