Unless we're resting people or struggling with injuries he shouldn't be near the first 11. However up until recently he was just picking up a wage and we looked like we were stuck with him for the next 2.5 years... so it's an improvement! Link to comment

CraigHill Posted December 15, 2023 Share Posted December 15, 2023 I don’t rate the guy much, however he has shown a couple of glimmers of hope (in a sea of mediocrity from attacking width options), but he doesn’t really fit into Robson’s single formation. He might be okay as an option wide in a 4-4-2, but as a wing-back type is too lacking in football intelligence / positioning sense to do the defensive part of the job. he is nowhere near the quality of a regular starter though, we must strive for better. 1 Link to comment
