Looked half a yard faster, fitter, and more committed than most of the rest on the park. Double sessions in the tank?

Haven’t seen on TV, but his first assist was either world class or lucky. Second was perfectly weighted and pinpointed cross.

I'm glad for him but weren't they playing Gibraltar or someone shite like that

Hope most of our players are panic signings from now on

Great to see an up tick in his form, but there weren’t many who disagreed that he was a panic signing. A player who’d been available all summer, but we waited to pull the trigger on at the last moment, when we found ourselves very short in midfield.

i liked McGrath when he was at St Mirren and wanted us to sign him back then… had totally lost his way in the game since then though!

Not all of us are constantly negative about everything the club does. What’s to say he was weighing up his options and the club gave him time to decide? Truth is nobody really knows, just a lot of people choose to be negative all the time.

Turning out to be a smart bit of business, perhaps accidentally?

He has done well for us in the main. He looks absolutely at home playing in Europe and has the quality to play in amongst the quality players we are up against and stand out.

Our problem is getting players that get us over the line against the lesser teams in the league as they simply don't allow players like him to make as much of an impact.

Really good to have a goalscoring midfielder in our side. 5 (?) goals already for young McGrath.

Liked his interview last night after the match in that the first thing he said he was very disappointed that we lost 2 goals late in the game, whilst also alluding to the goals scored to secure the win.

If you don't concede goals (especially in the soft manner we've been losing them recently), you're halfway to winning a match.

That's the sort of steely mentality we want in every one of players at AFC.

He's been a good signing. Links midfield and attack in a way that no one else in our squad is as equipped to do.  Starting to have a good understanding with Miovski now, too.

We could use another player like him if we want to stick to the 3421 formation.

He certainly has been a canny signing and has formed a very good understanding with Miovski, and also with Dante Polvara.

Polvara does a lot on the donkey work that goes unnoticed in terms of his tackling, interceptions, and laying on simple but, in some instances, very effective passes.

Very skilful and intelligent player .Always looking to create openings.

Probably the reason Miovski has been outstanding lately.

Was very wrong. He’s great. Funny that our 2 best signings in mcgrath and Devlin cost fuck all.

Would agree. They both have been great signings. We have not had a midfielder scoring freely for many years and some of the work Devlin does down the right side is very impressive.
