strachanmcgheegoal
Found this on Choob. Has it and also the Taverner one on McGrath on the touchline which I missed at the time. But particularly worth it just for the commentators flat very unimpressed "2-0 Aberdeen" 3 Link to comment

Vermelhos
Looked half a yard faster, fitter, and more committed than most of the rest on the park. Double sessions in the tank? Haven’t seen on TV, but his first assist was either world class or lucky. Second was perfectly weighted and pinpointed cross. 1 Link to comment
Dynamo
Good for him. It'll genuinely be a step up in opposition on Saturday though. Link to comment

A player who’d been available all summer, but we waited to pull the trigger on at the last moment, when we found ourselves very short in midfield. i liked McGrath when he was at St Mirren and wanted us to sign him back then… had totally lost his way in the game since then though! Not all of us are constantly negative about everything the club does. What’s to say he was weighing up his options and the club gave him time to decide? Truth is nobody really knows, just a lot of people choose to be negative all the time. 6 hours ago, alscotoz said: Turning out to be a smart bit of business, perhaps accidentally? milne_afc
Should probably extend his deal if he isn’t completely scunnered with the lack of killer instinct at the club. Link to comment
Andy_123
Yup I was skeptical of his signing, but he's been good. A pity it's come at the expense of playing Clarkson in his natural position. Maybe one day once Robson's gone we'll bin the 3 at the back to accomodate them both in midfield properly Link to comment

Turra red
He has done well for us in the main. He looks absolutely at home playing in Europe and has the quality to play in amongst the quality players we are up against and stand out. Our problem is getting players that get us over the line against the lesser teams in the league as they simply don't allow players like him to make as much of an impact. Link to comment
Matt Armstrong's Dog
Really good to have a goalscoring midfielder in our side. 5 (?) goals already for young McGrath. Liked his interview last night after the match in that the first thing he said he was very disappointed that we lost 2 goals late in the game, whilst also alluding to the goals scored to secure the win. If you don't concede goals (especially in the soft manner we've been losing them recently), you're halfway to winning a match. That's the sort of steely mentality we want in every one of players at AFC. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
He's been a good signing. Links midfield and attack in a way that no one else in our squad is as equipped to do. Starting to have a good understanding with Miovski now, too. We could use another player like him if we want to stick to the 3421 formation. Link to comment

He certainly has been a canny signing and has formed a very good understanding with Miovski, and also with Dante Polvara. Polvara does a lot on the donkey work that goes unnoticed in terms of his tackling, interceptions, and laying on simple but, in some instances, very effective passes. Link to comment

Probably the reason Miovski has been outstanding lately. 1 Link to comment

Would agree. They both have been great signings. We have not had a midfielder scoring freely for many years and some of the work Devlin does down the right side is very impressive. Link to comment
