Cormack Thread

Surely if they were planning on ditching the stadium, they could have held off the Training Facilities and moved that closer to Pittodrie!

Why?  Makes absolutely f*ck all difference.  Players leave house and drive to training ground/players leave house and drive to Pittodrie

Heard the same rumours myself.

Cormack to take over and a raft of the board going.

We're going to be backed by the American $$$$.

Whether or not this is a good thing remains to be seen.

Plenty wealthy yanks have invested in, or bought football clubs and it's all went to shit.

Difference here is potentially a dons fan in power alongside him! He surely wouldn’t put the club at risk!?

Would you take an American Investor, a couple of cups in the bag then years of turmoil, ala Rangers and Hearts

or

Plod along like we are, with maybe the odd cup final and a cup win every 10-20 years?

There's no need for the turmoil if done sensibly

Put it this way Cormack can't do any worse a job than Milne has over his tenure

Stewart Milne's tenure has been failure in the main.

He ran up a debt of £15m and was bailed out by the Donald's

He left Pittodrie neglected and it's now a shithole

He's appointed umpteen shite managers.

I could go on...

If this means that we show a modicum of ambition (within reason) and a bit of spine with the football authorities...

If it means we will not be seen as the subservient, quiet club that we are just now...

If it means there will be a general lifting of the apathy that permeates down from the present Board...

If it means no more drinking from the huns loving cup (ok that bit was an unnecessary dig)....

if those things happen, then I'm fine with it.

I've said to the McInnes haters, that change is needed at the top before we even think about McInnes.

We now have it.

I now wonder how safe Derek Mcinnes might be in the future, seeing as Milne was his number 1 backer?....
