Ke1t
I'm just wondering how much coverage the Third Division is about to get from Radio Scotland and Scottish TV. Going to hazard a wild guess that radio coverage will be split between Celtic and Rangers, with TV highlights going, SPL: Celtic...50%. Third Division: Rangers.... 40%. back to the SPL: Everyone else.... 10%. Link to comment

No contract in place for ANY coverage of Division 3 at all. Think you might be a bit high on the SEVCO percentage Kelt. The Daily Retard & The Hun will of course have their sycophants like Keith Jackshun reporting on their games, saying what a sad loss their travelling support is to the Scottish game and SPL.... RUL
Think Alba have the contract for lower league. Sky are sending camera crew to kelty hearts v rangers friendly so I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing a lot of rangers this season on TV. Link to comment

dj_bollocks
TV ? Dunno... Doubtful... Be interesting to see if they get any cup game coverage though... Radio ? Unlikely you'll get any commentary apart from online Press - Yep they'll still be wanting on about the huns trying to shift copies of a dying industry... They'd be better off doing it radio/tv in house... Link to comment

spamspamspam
Don't think it'll get any coverage at all. Cant see sevco agreeing to take on all sanctions and future fines etc from SFA and SPL and with that I don't see them getting a licence to play. If they do come to some sort of agreement then there is only so long you can stand and watch the aftermath of a car crash. Link to comment
Stoneybloke
It's fairly obvious that the media interest will continue for some time and there will be cameras at all the Newcos games. What will be interesting is the weekly Sportscene coverage when the OF had the bulk of the programme. Surely that can't continue, or will it? Link to comment

Ke1t
The BBC have no contract to show any games from Division 3. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they did it via artists sketches of the game, with a reporter commenting on procedings, like in court . Which, seeing as we're talking about Newco, is actually quite the coincidence given where the bulk of their fans spend the bulk of thier time. The Sevco fan looked on dejectedly as Queens Park went four up against 34 year old Lee McCulloch and 10 kids. A heavy police presence was unable to prevent trouble after the match. A Sevco spokesman said that all the trouble was caused by Everton fans from Ireland who were disguised as Sevco fans. 1 Link to comment
yfs
You would think, if nobody else takes it on, it would be common sense for Rangers to run their own TV setup? There's obviously a market there to pay for it, amongst Rangers fans alone. When you consider rights would be next to nothing too. Link to comment

tup
Wishful thinking for those saying no coverage. Radio Scotland will be at every single Sevco game this season doing full commentary, the place is staffed almost exclusively with huns, that's what they live for. Sportsound should have been chopped along with Rangers. Link to comment

Celtic would murder Sevco. They wouldn't allow those balls to come together as it stands at the moment. Link to comment

V for Vendetta
Its going to be interesting watching all these hun fuckers who work in the media find any excuse they can to stop covering the SPL and keep covering the huns instead. Prepare for the most lame of excuses why they are at training sessions for a division 3 side. Link to comment

In fact, they're hellbent on revenge. The next task for Scottish football is to root them out one by one. The disgrace that is Sportsound, and the BBC website coverage of Scottish football is a good starting point. Biased garbage is putting it mildly. Link to comment
muttondressedaslamb
Has Chick officially thrown in the towel then? Haven't heard from him in a while. You can just imagine BBC execs running about like headless chickens with regards to next season's coverage. That images make me feel good. It would be good if they had the shitty correspondents doon Iprix way, like the wifie and the the ones with really strong local accents covering the games. Link to comment
tup
Apparently Chick was back on in the last few days and was making a point about how Rangers deserve special treatment. Then he said something about how if a restraunt is full and Rod Stewart walks in then they'll make an exception for him because of who he is. Hmmm. This type of attitude is exactly why we are faced with a multitude of problems in the first place. Misplaced arrogance and false pedestals. We are the people etc Link to comment
