Stoney
I'll hazard a guess that you don't take in many u19 games (there's no reserve league these days FYI) then. Fraser regularly impresses, weighing in with plenty of assists. To say he is struggling badly is utter garbage. If he's given some game time in the first team this season I think he can do well, I'd say he has more potential than Pawlett but only time will tell. What ever you class friendlies as, seen him play 3 times for the first time and same again in friendlies and not sure he will make the grade. If he is as good as you say why has he not been able to get in the first team? If he was that good then he would have played much more last season. Big season for him, if he hasnt broken into the team this year - i think he will be moved on! Link to comment

Karl Fletcher
Ryan Fraser has always played on the left when I've seen him. Unless I'm missing something, I thought he is a natural left midfielder? Link to comment
Stoney
he only just turned 18 in February. he has time! Exactly......he'll be too old for the 19's next season, hence why he needs to start showing something in the first team this season! Link to comment
Stoney
youre honestly an imbecile look at the reviews further up from folk who have actually seen him Shut it spastic I have seen him play, thats my assesment and its obviously one Craig Brown currently agrees with! Link to comment

Under 20's now so he has an extra year. Anyway st mirren game at the end of last season I thought Fraser was the best player on the park and he only played about 20 minutes. How you can say he has done nothing is baffling. Link to comment

Came on in the 80th Minute dude. From memory i only remember him having one run which resulted in him being punted off the ball, Dont remember him creating much at all! Link to comment
Stoney
so obvious, that hes now in the first team squad, aye? Michael Paton is in the first team squad........whats your point? 1 Link to comment

Brown isn't keen on playing youngsters so don't think the fact he hasn't played much can suggest he isn't good enough. Masson was our best player the last 4 or 5 games, im willing to bet that when he's fit again he won't get back in. Link to comment

Correct brown hasnt really given anybody a big chance, Megginson has a wee spell but shunted out on the left! Im just going by the games i have seen him in, and as you said Masson played very well as too did Macmanus. I think Masson will be used more off the bench than say megginson / fraser think he will get more of a chance based on how he performed. Out of the 4 (Smith, Macmanus, Masson and fraser) fraser has the most to do, at his age he should be playing more than he is. Link to comment
DD1903
Ryan Fraser came on against Kilmarnock at the end of last season and had an excellent game, IMO. Beat the right back several times, putting some decent crosses into the box Link to comment
Stoney
that patons been tried and tested and definitely needs to show more this is frasers first chance, so how can he be accused of needing to show more?! Made his Debut on 16th of October 2010 (20 months ago) and has been given only 51 minutes of game time. Meginnson who is a year older made nine starts and 11 sub appearances mostly on the wing kind of speaks for itself really. 1 Link to comment
