fine-n-dandy
Notice on twitter that Jason Brown and Clangers dont follow each other so clearly nae the best of muckers Didn't help that Brown found out that Clangers was calling Brown, Uncle Phil (from fresh prince of bel air) behind his back I don't condone any personal abuse that has been given to Clangers or family on TWATter in any way but now that some folk have done it, maybe it'll disgust him enough to leave, or on the other hand he may feel he'd rather stay & get his revenge in that way. barassie_afc
Not surprised that comment about langfield on brown, a moronic wanker of the highest order remants of calderwoods cancer Link to comment
swifty
The personal abuse aimed at his health issues is obviously uncalled for, but this twitter row shouldn't overshadow the main issue here, namely Langfield is nowhere near good enough to be playing in goals for Aberdeen and should be dropped immediately. 1 Link to comment
Foster14
Notice on twitter that Jason Brown and Clangers dont follow each other so clearly nae the best of muckers Actually just noticed that Brown ain't followed by all that many Dons' players and I see that he doesn't follow any Dons' players himself. Wonder if that means he doesn't really get on with anyone there and player power may have been another factor in why Brown has gone with Langfield as his number 1 this year (as Clangers certainly seems to be one of these favourites in the dressing room)? Henry
I'm not sure I believe Clangers typed that. How could a man with hands like his show enough control to type like that & nto lkie tihs? Are you suggesting Jamie Langfield is actually on AFChat, posting as Bluto? 1 Link to comment
sheepiekev
It's pretty simple.Anyone who goes on Twitter and posts nonsense about Jamie Langfield's illness is a complete cunt who deserves a slap.He had a near death illness FFS.Surely people can separate that from football? Leaving that aside, he is a liability on the pitch and shouldn't be our No.1 keeper. .....And neither should Jason Brown, he's nearly as bad. Link to comment
tainboy
Bobby Geddes was from InverG, one of our most famous exports (behind Bryan Gunn). What the Bryan Gunn from Thurso??? Link to comment
Crossbow
Twitter is totally irrelevant, Clangers woeful series of errors over the years have cost us dearly - I don't care if he is popular in the dressing room - that just shows too many losers in there - someone who costs the team on a regular basis and shows no insight into his incompeteance wouldn't be popular with a group of winners. JB may not be great but he is better. The fact that we put Clangers in goal just shows we/CB have not learnt enough and I fear we'll do well to get in the top half because we don't have enough people with the right attitude. tainboy
Actually just noticed that Brown ain't followed by all that many Dons' players and I see that he doesn't follow any Dons' players himself. But why should they??? They are work mates. I don't socialise with work mates nor have them on my puss jotter as I like to keep work and social lives separate. Why should a footballer be any different? The world has gone to pot due primarily to idiots ho can't self teach or think for themselves and dote on the opinions of katies Jodie's Peters and Alex's of this world. Ban twitter. Ban puss jotter. Even ban bebo if anyone still use it. Link to comment
perthshirered
If ive missed it then apologies. But, if Langfield even had the decency to come out after a fuck-up like that an hold his hands up and apologise then he might cut himself a wee bit of slack. But he repeatedly seems to just shrug it off and fucking up over and over again. Some of the abuse might be out of order but i dont think he does himself any favours. Link to comment

Site Sponsor RTYD Posted August 5, 2012 Site Sponsor Share Posted August 5, 2012 1344188824[/url]' post='800222']There is no doubting that if Langers wants to be on twitter, he has to expect the bad with the good if his performances are substandard. I personally wouldn't bother like, but you have to accept some will. Just a shame that people have to resort to personal abuse when doing it, some of which seems to have crossed the line. Edit: As Bripod says, scumbags... There is no need for personal abuse. Getting back to the subject, he never has and never will be good enough. Total bottler who has demonstrated it time after time. Get Brown back in on Saturday. Link to comment

They shouldn't but if you get on with your workmates you would. When abody else in the team is following abody else, it just seems that Jason Brown is the black sheep in the group. Just an observation really... Link to comment

Ke1t
there is a dearth of quality goalkeepers at the moment, when i was a young loon i remember how the Scottish game was blessed with quality keepers, Leighton, Henry Smith, Campbell Money, Billy Thomson, Hamish McAlpine , Pat Bonner and Bobby Geddes were all first choices at thier clubs. ok there was the shite onesAlan Rough, Robin Rae, peter McCloy, Nicky Walker, Jim Stewart, but by and large we had a fine array of keepers. Anyone know if Dundee Utd's ex keeper Pernis has a club yet? Dunno if anyone has mentioned this, but Henry Smith was a bombscare. The only chant I remember about that mulletpermed disaster was "Henry, Henry Drop The Ball." A goalkeeping Dave McPherson. Link to comment

vanderark14
The personal abuse towards the guy is un called for but the criticism of his ability is justified. he's been a liability for years barring one decent season with us. I noticed someone mentioning that clangers will feel terrible. Well thats fine by me, his team mates who busted a gut in the most difficult ground to play at in Scotland right now, will feel pretty shit too after putting in a great shift only for it to be ruined by yet another howler. I got an absolute shed load of abuse from Aberdeen fans that probably weren't even at the game. Whats been said on twitter? Him and dave mcdermid wanting to get the police involved, clangers claims his wife in tears, not sure if its because of the messages or his goalkeepin though.Hes already apologised on Twitter. He apologised directly to me. He's still shite. Link to comment
