The Boofon
then youd be, again, UTTERLY wrong I refer you to the last accusation of me being utterly wrong.Brown saves a proper hiding. Had it not been for former Celtic and Hibernian goalkeeper Mark Brown, making his debut after signing a short-term contract, it could have been a more heavy defeat for the Dingwall outfit. You don't think changing four people in a team isn't making wholesale changes? How many changes do you think it takes to make a wholesale change? Link to comment
RUL
The definition of wholesale is not majority but large, 4 out of 11 players being changed... Link to comment
The Boofon
by definition, wholesale would need to be the majority of the team changed as for you not being wrong about brown because he only let in 4 on his debut...hows that proving hes better than langfield or "jase"? Where did I say I'm right about Mark Brown because he only let in 4 goals last night? The definition of wholesale is not majority but large, 4 out of 11 players being changed... Thank you. The Boofon
On what basis did you make a definitive statement that Brown M was better than Brown J or Langfield? Bearing in mind he was in goals when we put 4 past Celtic at Pittodrie. On my opinion of having seen all three goalkeepers in action. Mark Brown is the better goalkeeper of those three keepers. What is the relevance of letting in 4 goals while he played for Celtic? Peter Schmeichel let in 5 for Manchester United. He must be worse than Brown going by your logic. Link to comment

The Boofon
In the Celtic game I mentioned he had no command of his area, no presence and no shot stopping ability. What aspects if his game do you know for sure are better than Brown or Langfield? Have you other evidence of Mark Brown having no command of his area, no presence and no shot stopping ability or are you basing your judgement on 1 game? Regarding the aspects of his game, for me he looks like a keeper who has more confidence and command in his penalty box area than our keepers. Of course that's my opinion and not absolute fact so can only be taken in that context. It would be impossible to prove absolute that Mark Brown is a better goalkeeper than our pair of clowns in all aspects but from what I know and have seen of all three keepers I have made my decision that Mark Brown is the better goalkeeper. You may disagree with that and you're welcome to do so. It doesn't affect my opinion if you choose to do so. Link to comment
The Boofon
"He's the better of the three" makes perfect grammatical sense as does "He's the best of the three" Westhill for the new stadium. Link to comment

Bearing in mind he was in goals when we put 4 past Celtic at Pittodrie. He hardly got a sniff at Celtic and being thrown in for odd games doesn't help a keeper. Like Howard and Langfield under McGhee. He was an outstanding keeper back in his Inverness days. Nae sure what he's like now as I've hardly seen him play. Link to comment
ebbe
you'd be hard pushed to find a worse keeper than langfield that's for sure. mark brown is murder aswell but a slight improvement on clangers. Link to comment
The Boofon
Anyway there is a better thread than this one for discussing the merits of AFC and Ross County goalkeepers. Is the next round draw seeded or not? Link to comment

The Boofon
Was that nae the game fan Grassi caved in his coupin? No idea. Got beat 3-2. Paton scored twice for us and they won in extra time because of, you guessed it, a Langfield goalkeeping fuck up. Link to comment
