Bluto10
ive genuinely often wondered if there was something wrong with me, marginally though like i maybe say things in public that your everyday run of the mill person wouldnt however, it also gives me confidence, a confidence which has lead me well so far in my life, so i suppose im kinda using my suspected autism as a super power...not, ironically, unlike batman? thats cause youre just sooper dooper briliant. the best there is. tup
There were certainly plenty of heroes cutting about the last time I passed through Rutherglen. The only Super these heroes come into contact with is Tennents Super, first thing every morning, on a park bench. 1 Link to comment

It gives me a fleeting feeling of superiority when I point out other folks mistakes. It never lasts though, it's a short term buzz. Link to comment

Foster14
I love MT's use of the word power. It isn't having responsibility, whether it be for his staff or for his actions and the effect it could have on the business and stakeholders the business. It isn't for recognition from his peers. Nah, it is power. He wants to be in control of others, full of self-importance. A lot of people who believe they wield power have had feck all success in their working lives. Link to comment

Stoney
oh im aware of that, however my goals right now are tempered but even then, i have stuff most folk stoney in particular, could only dream of success is most definitely money driven, but power is important tooIf i want something i just go out and buy it! Unless of course i thought to myself, hmm i wish i was 12 again lets go out and get a record player. I live in a nice suburb, one where there was one break in last year! In Rutherglen Central and North there were 485 reported incidents of anti-social behaviour over the last three months thats an average of over 5 a day, thats fucking worse than Afghanistan Link to comment
tup
why?why?you can buy a whole lotta love with the money and power ill have What do you mean 'why'? What do you want from life? Rest assured having lots of money will not make you content, or happy, or at peace with yourself. Nor will having 'power' do that, whatever you consider 'power' to be. Life isna really like it's depicted in the movies. To be happy you need to be 'comfortable in your own skin' as the French say. You appear not to be content in any way in my opinion, and you hold dear all the wrong things, like life is a rap video and you can bling yourself to happiness. Link to comment
