strachanmcgheegoal
This is what I've been saying all along. Either it's the same club and they're liable for the oldco debts, or it's a new club which has won fuck-all other than a few lower division titles. Cannae have it both ways. Yes you can. The club with no legal entity cannot be held liable for any debts, directly (bank) or indirectly (tax). That's the owning and operating company. Apparently. Ethereal apparently trophy winning Clubs are now thus immortal. As long as there's no direct link between debt (such as team investment for instance) and success then it'll all be fine. Apparently. Anyone of sane disposition can see that a senior football club exists as a Company - its not possible for it to be defined in any other way. Club=Company Link to comment
vanderark14
Football dweebs up and down the country will be in OUTRAGE I bet they are happy being dweebs or obsessed with football whilst you pretend to be some sort of party animal to a bunch of strangers on a football forum. 10 Link to comment

Pot noodle and a wank, probably You don't appear to give a fuck about football...or at least the pish offering that is the Scottish offering. So, not really sure why you bother popping in. What did you have your lunch on the pub thread...informing all of the copious amounts of pints that you have googled, seems more your type of thread? 3 Link to comment
Bluto10
I do actually, but it's just a game, do dinna take it that seriously. I'd advise you to chill out min and go the same. 11 Link to comment
Jimmy Grimble
Didn't expect anything else. This whole outcome has been engineered by those in charge since the brown stuff originally hit the fan. Their review is pointless and will achieve nothing so what's the point in them evening trying to keep up the charade. Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
Scenario 1. Next club to be caught out re rules. Something huge like 'served orange clubs at half time, was supposed to be mint'. Rules applied, club chucked out of competition. Club tells rule makers they can GTF, muttering something about sporting advantage. Scenario 2. Club in financial difficulty. Club would be fine if only it could shed massive debt and tell HMRC to do one. Oh, hang on..,,,, Both coming to a league fixture near you, probably sooner rather than later. Link to comment

BWG
So the SPFL have said they can't strip the titles because Rangers don't exist anymore. Fucking hell. Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
Just so long as we make sure to correct the orcs anytime they bump on about their successful club/s. The old club won 49 titles...... impressive but why the five stars? The new club has zero top flight titles but impressively came up through the leagues quickly. This should not be underestimated because just look at Edinburgh city & how tough it can be. Link to comment
scoot
I really hope the SFA or SPFL try and do any team for a wrongly registered player after this. 1 Link to comment

caledonia
The Herald confirms Ratboy Fergahun did indeed transfer the house to his wifes name alone, prior to his bankrupcy. It says he did it 6 years ago, presumably saw the writing on the wall? That thick cunt could not see the writing on the wall if it hit him on the face He once went to the Scottish Motor Show and spent 3 hours going round the carpark 2 Link to comment

dave_min
Fans will post on forums and on twitter and get folk to retweet it... And once no one does anything of note... it'll disappear and we will continue to do sweet fuck all. Pointless exercise but worth moaning on forums about it. RT Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
"FURTHER discipline... "? How were they ever disciplined?I'm sorry? I think you'll find gifting them the equivalent of our new stadium and then asking for 0.5% of it back is pretty harsh no? Granted they refused to pay it and we only eventually got it back by deducting it from prize monies. Anyone seeing a trend here? We severely punish them by giving them a tenner and then downright demanding 10p back. Damn right! Fucking showed them eh! No chance they'll get ideas above their station again. 1 1 Link to comment

ZeroTolerance
About 45% of football fans in Scotland support Rangers. A number which is complete shite, as I demonstrated in my earlier post. Link to comment

Shinniesta
The law is an ass but it was applied. Time to move on surely?Time to move on from what? Corruption and cheating from both the authorities and the establishment club? Just sweep it all under the carpet and "move on?". If that is indeed what happens and this whole sorry escapade goes no further then Scottish football is truly 100% dead in the water (it arguably is already). I just hope Celtic keep pushing and their legal team find a way to bring those who have brought disgrace to the game here punished in accordance with the crimes committed. They are the only club that seem interested in doing anything about it (to be fair they would gain the most from title stripping). On the other hand the likes of Budge and Milne are mere lap dogs to Rangers, Doncaster and Regan. It's stomach churning stuff. 4 1 Link to comment
Scotty_Toronto
The law is an ass but it was applied. The law wasn't applied fairly to Rangers. If it was then Ibrox would have been sold for a realistic price in order to pay off creditors. Time to move on surely? I can't/won't because I know the truth, and the difference between right and wrong. Link to comment
