We did loan Foster to them, McGhee thought is was a good idea to loan out our only full back and we loaned a Lithuanian forward who never played in exchange.

Yep, definitely McGhee who loaned out Foster.

 

No-one can deny that Foster was (still is) a very limited footballer, but the fact was that he was the only recognised full-back at the club. Magoo's decision to loan him to one of our main rivals counts as one of the most breathtakingly stupid deals in the history of our club.
