I dont get all the negativity. It was better than i expected it to be.

The gulf in class( or money) of the two teams is far greater than just a year ago, But would have liked a bit more adventure in the final third..especially late on.

At least we didn't fall apart after 1 - that's about it in terms of positives. Actually, I thought McLean had some decent touches too.

 

The creativity that we're more than capable of goes out the window against them - where McGinn would usually cut inside and try a shot or reverse pass, he pings a long ball/cross into the middle of nowhere.

Jack quite often looks good against better teams. For as much as I moan about Rooney at least he gets the goals to justify his place in the team. What on earth does Taylor do to justify his place? An absolute terrible footballer who I have grown a strong hatred for.
