The whole situation is a mess, the SNP taking the Greens into bed was really nothing more than fannybagging (my word for taking the piss). It was never required and they only done this for the “clicks”.
The Greens (agree with some of their shit, but by fuck they are complete losers) now think they are great. They get dumped and now seek retribution.
I fully expect Humza to lose the vote of confidence. It then would not be a huge shock for Labour to win any vote.
Could be the end of the SNP as a force in Scotland.

If you love politics, it’s been a good day.

Can anyone tell me why we don’t have any major political parties that are centre left economically and centre right culturally (and preferably not too overtly fashy) considering that’s probably the largest political constituency in Scotland and the UK as a whole?

That’s because it’s the inverse of the positions held by our elite institutions, the sh*te folk are taught at university and the line they have to tow if they seek advancement at ant major private company or public body.

'Woke' is the word you're looking for. Jesus was right, the meek inherited the earth.

Covid and Sturgeon ended SNP. Humza just made sure.

Would argue that Sturgeon was at her peak of popularity throughout COVID winning plaudits from England and beyond on how at the time she was handling COVID and the lockdown etc.

Getting into bed with the Greens and pursuing a raft of non economic policies that the vast majority of the Scottish population had little to know interest in is what ended her.

In turn her abrupt resignation, that resulted in the poorer clone in all ways that is Humza being appointed, appears to be the final nail in the coffin.

Alex Salmond must torn between laughing his head off at what is happening while being utterly devastated at what has happened to the Party he helped take to unbelievable heights.

Would you bet on him being reappointment to lead the SNP again?

So apparently the "no confidence" vote Douglas Ross has called for is flawed - if it was no confidence in the government, that could collapse the parliament and cause an election.

However, apparently he has only called a vote on no confidence in Humza personally.  That has no legal force or effect and would only highlight that ppl think Humza is a dick. And we know that already.

Is this a blunder or strategy? - certainly the SNP are on a road to nowhere and 2 more yrs of this would no doubt lose them more support.

But the SNP couldnt afford 2 election campaigns in 1 year - and would not get many donations with embezzlement and defamation trials ongoing - so I would argue its best to press home the attack right now.

Also rumours that Humza may chuck it today and no wonder.  He got his life goal of being the first asian/muslim FM and, having delivered nothing but poorer services and higher taxes for scotland, can now take his illl-gotten riches and live out his days pontificating about Gaza.

Not to mention her murky association with a missing 600 grand.  Twitter rumours say the Police want to charge her too, but her personally appointed Pal, the Lord Advocate, is resisting this.

Did you see the state of her in the press, the day her husband was arrested?  A far cry from her polished appearance of power suits and high heels, she sported wild eyes, unkempt hair and several "spare tires" around her waist.

She was a nasty piece of work tbh, always seeking to patronise and slight people, rather than best them in a debate.  And so its hard to pity her.

Her sister is always on twitter, hawking tarot cards, fortune telling, weight loss tablets and pyramid schemes.  And so you can see the type of family they are, (gypes), these confidence tricks and lack of honesty also characterised Sturgeons time in office.

As much as I dislike Nicola Sturgeon, I don't think she knew anything, or played any part, in any fraud.

It’s not a legally binding vote in any case, just humiliates Humza! The reality will be to see if All Snp Msps vote for him or if any break rank’s

They are all at it and it is part of a normal life most top politicians lead. Scams right , left and centre only this time someone told the police to take action.

Has that Alba ginger found herself in the position of kingmaker?

She's a ride. Probably the best looking bird in Scottish politics not that there's much opposition.

Aberdeen's own Cllr Deena Tissera, former Miss Sri Lanka candidate, well worth a poke.

A word with vague meaning, invented and trotted out by right wing media within the past 5 years is the word you're looking for

Although it's hard to pin any precise definition on it as is the way with several other words such as "love" everyone knows what it represents.

Only point scoring bananas trot out the "what does it mean" rhetoric in the ridiculous hope it makes the person using a word they can't precisely define seem stupid. However the very opposite is true. It just makes the one asking the very trite question look like an agenda loaded silly billy .
