Maybe, maybe not. But the delay is Milne struggling to sell Pittodrie and the club struggling to raise £50m, not because they're secretly planning to go against everything they've argued against in the past few years and redevelop Pittodrie.

surely the bulk of the £50m will be a loan/mortgage from numerous banks?

Surely be the Main Stand and Merkland they'd be looking at if this was actually genuine?

Well, he's speaking shite, but IF it was genuine then actually the South would be the logical place to start, as the size of the pitch/run off areas need fixed, and they can't move the main stand.

Plus, is the south not the one that's less likely to get a safety certificate in a few years?

If there were any truth to it, the south would make sense.

Means you out away fans in the Merkland for a period of time and house home fans in the Main and RDU. You would just funnel the away fans down Merkland Road for access and block it off for the bigot bros coming to town.

It'll never happen anywayvas the stadium will be built.

No idea whatsoever if there is any truth in pittodrie redevelopment evaluation but it is a 100% truth that Kingsford is not a certainty at the moment.

That info was from the club doctor earlier in the year and confirmed by Dave Cormack at one of the recent fan events

What event? The talk from the last event was Cormack saying 2022. It was Milne who then commented that this was going to be a major struggle and that he thought 2023 was more likely.

Dave Cormack's exact words were that he felt Kingsford will 'still probably happen'

It's still kinda seems hush hush and lets see how long they can drag out the snagging list etc for the training ground but 100% the project/construction team will be stood down/demobilised. We won't be moving seamlessly into phase 2

If aren't going to manage to fundraise for a brand new state of the art stadium out at kingsford then how are we going to fundraise to redevelop Pittodrie?

Kingsford will happen, just a case of when. No idea what sort of mortgage the club will be allowed to take on Kingsford, but they'll surely need to have the rest of the money in the bank, a sale agreed for Pittodrie etc. first.

Latest chat was estimate £40M for Phase 2 and estimate £15M for Pittodrie leaving £25M to be raised from;
