Great signing. Played 19 games this season for Wigan so not like he’s coming in cold he should be good to go. 
I like Goodwins comments about how he knows the expectations of the club, maybe shinnie can teach Goodwin a thing or two

On the face of it it's a good signing.

Where does Goodwin plan on playing him, because we need him at the back and in the middle. 

And potentially up front and in goal.

Great signing - good player but his biggest attribute last time was his ability to inspire others driving the team on. Only slight reservation is we don't really need a LB as Coulsen is fine there and we have decent options in centre midfield. Guess we look at Shinnie and Ramadani in there now which should give us more dig. Clarkson is still decent so hopefully somebody is daft enough to take Barron as his value will only plunge if not playing and hes not currently good enough to start with the options we now have and no point talking long term is hes no signing an extension.

Pleased with that though - should lift the mood for Saturday and semi final. Goodwin will be hoping this move can save him. .

Can't agree with that - we are massively needing reinforcements in centre midfield. Ramadani is the only experienced dedicated central midfielder we have and it is an area we are struggling in.  Our squad is hopelessly unbalanced - hopefully this signing and others still to arrive will start to address this and give us more chance of having a better second half of the season.
