Connor Barron is midfielder,he is very skilful and very small, often pushed out the way by bigger, stronger less talented players. He is a midfield playmaker and takes most of the corners and free kicks.I can imagine Aberdeen u18s coach Barry Robson will like him very much.Connor is very like Barry Robson in how he plays.

Connor B is also a well grounded lad and a Dandy with great work ethic. Know him and his family and he was always out practicing by himself or with his Dad in evenings when younger and heading to local gym to work on his strength when looking to get a contract.Plenty time to build more strength with only being few months full time

Connor McLennan looks a cracking prospect

Needs more games now.

Cracking player who i think is ready.

Came on here to post the same.

Looks like he is ready and shouldn't be held back any longer.  Strong, pacey and direct.  Gives us something different going forward.

Need to be given a run now.  Probably deserves his place in the team ahead of some of McInnes other, more trusted foot soldiers.

How much of a chance was Shankland given with us? I don't know.

He did get a few games for us, but looked well out of his depth.

He's obviously gone away, worked at his game, got some senior matches under his belt and has improved.  Good luck to him.  He's probably going to get another chance in the SPFL Prem or English Championship in the coming months.

Connor McLennan is a terrific player. Has had a really bad run of injuries over the last couple of years so hopefully he's over that as he can have a big influence in the team in the coming seasons

Both him and Anderson look far better prospects than Wright and Frank Ross. Would like to see both of them get more game time.

Certainly would lke to see more of the younger lads given more game time this season from here on in. It's time to give them the required minutes in order for them to gain experience to benefit us as a team. If it means we have to take a little bit of short term pain by finishing mid table by doing this then so be it. We're not going to find out if there good enough until their exposed to first team football pressure and attention.

I'd be happy enough to see the 4 guys mentioned above and probably Dean Campbell brought in and played on a regular basis alongside a bit of experience provided by Lewis, Shinnie, Logan, Devlin & GMS. add in the young players already in the team like McKenna, Ferguson and Lowe and you've got pace and energy in abundance.

An added advantage is these young guys are from the North East and brought up as Aberdeen supporters which can't be a bad thing.

A really good Youth Cup tie hidden away on a Friday afternoon in Airdrie.Motherwell are a good team at youth level ,bringing through several players and have Stephen Craigen,a fine coach.Difficult tie for the Young Dons.Motherwell  are away at Hearts tomorrow and cannot understand why Motherwell would not want to host the tie at Fir Park and get a good Friday night crowd. Delighted to see Connor McLennan doing so well and looking forward to seeing him and hopefully Bruce Anderson against St Johnstone tomorrow.
