StandFree1982
Crazy with his stats the lack of bidsIf he was English he'd have been snapped up for £50M by now. Link to comment
boboisared
Yes but selling him now means they'd have to replace him now. Bear in mind as Premier league players go he's likely to be on one of the lowest wages around. If they got £15 million for him now, just to replace him adequately from another English club is going to cost them probably more fee wise.....given how little time there is to go in the window, selling clubs can ask for higher fees as they've got so little time themselves to source a replacement. Even if the replacement is from a Championship club, he's very likely to be on higher wages than Fraser already. So getting another year out of him but losing him for free works out far better cost wise as long as he helps them remain in the EPL. If he does go...….wouldn't surprise me to see them try to replace him with Forrest from the Dhims.Understand what you are saying. But next year they are in the same situation with none of the Fraser fee to make it easier. Link to comment
BWG
Understand what you are saying. But next year they are in the same situation with none of the Fraser fee to make it easier. EPL clubs aren't exactly known for long term thinking. Link to comment
TheRock
Don't think Fraser is going to move at this point but Bournemouth have just signed Harry Wilson for the season from Liverpool. He's a winger, I think. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
So a disillusioned Fraser is going to stay and try his wee heart out for Bornemouth but a disillusioned McKenna is a disruptive influence and should be banished to the reserves despite the fact we only have 4 fit defenders for our biggest 2 games of the season (moneywise)? Anybody else Link to comment

RUL
Yeah I am unsure how it’s same ? Bournemouth want him to stay and he wants to stay. It’s us that want him to leave Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
In which case why have we had umpteen pages debating the assumed move? Link to comment

Kiriakov33
Confirmed on the wireless this evening that he is staying put until his contract runs out next summer. A bit surprised to be honest nobody has chanced their arm with 10-15 million bid Link to comment
TheRock
With players costing what they cost and all the income Premier League clubs get, you wonder if Bournemouth would even take a £10-15m offer, they'd probably prefer to keep him for another season and lose him for nothing. Probably aren't going to be able bring someone else in of equal quality and the same wage with £12m. Link to comment
DelMonte
If his contract runs out next summer do we not have a chance of the money again in January? Link to comment
Shinniesta
He might sign a new contract after the window closes with an agreed release clause. Protects both the player and the club. Link to comment

YorkDon
If he carries on producing like he did last season then someone will chance their arm in January. Link to comment
Dons79
Arguably they could also talk to him about signing for any team that wants on a free transfer come January and wait six months for fuck all fee for nobody Link to comment
V for Vendetta
I must say I'll be pretty gutted if we don't get some money out of a move for this lad. With all the cash that's sloshing about the leagues down there it'd be typical of our luck to miss out. Link to comment

Would be hust our luck to lose out on large cash because one player wants to stay, and lose out on large cash because another player wants to leave. Link to comment
dj_bollocks
If his contract runs out next summer do we not have a chance of the money again in January? There's a chance but if you're a savvy club you'll get him on a pre contract on Feb 1st and have to pay fuck all in transfer fees and wait til next season... Meaning we'll get 20% of fuck all... The_Next_Legend
If he signs a new deal, is the sell on fee % still active and continue into his new deal aye? Link to comment
Ewebasher
If he signs a new deal, is the sell on fee % still active and continue into his new deal aye? Course it would. The clause isnt in the players contract, its in the agreement between the clubs. Otherwise, what would stop a club offering a player a new contract a week after signing? Can't say for sure that dazzy knows what he's talking about but certainly makes sense... Link to comment
Guest milne_afc
That's not to say there wouldn't be a time limit on certain terms and agreements. Nobody knows. Link to comment
