I doubt it.

Goodwin made it pretty clear he’s spoken to clubs about two players, & if they’re not available we’ll go with what we have.

Personally I think we’re at least one light in defence, maybe two. 
But it looks like McCrorie & an untried Jack Milne are replacement centre halves, which I think will bite us big time.

Sick of this McCrorie being classed as decent cover in defence as well. 
not even close to his best position & he’s hardly even average when utilised there.

Things change, we've just moved on a CB so I think there's a chance we bring one in - possibly just a loan for a bit of depth.

Im hoping the 2 targets were players we were looking at adding regardless of departures.

Ramirez or Bates leaving should mean a cheaper replacement coming in of some sort.

McLennan and Watkins wouldn't really need replaced imo.

Bizarre that Chelsea signed him still. Never played for them either.

He’s been signed by 3 clubs but only played for 2 of them. He’s been loaned out to something like 15 clubs in his career. 
 

He’s far better than that though. Strange career for him.

Think they still managed to make a profit on him which was Chelsea’s model for ages.

No defender incoming today and we are in the shit. Unless we can recall Towler or Nywenga at anytime and Jim fancied McKenzie at cb. All the same no real experience between the three of them.

5 hours left in the transfer window,  so hopefully we get somebody in, but it's starting to look worryingly like last season.....paper thin in central defence and vulnerable to a lone striker being injured. 

Seems a bit nuts that we're once again being left with this scenario.

Bates leaving leaves us with 2 out and out centre halves. The other two are midfielders by trade.
