Contract up in the summer, similar to us and Hedges, had to accept something or they'd get nowt for him Link to comment

Leaves us McCrorie, Barron & a completely untried Polvara. We’d need 3 centre mids of varying quality/standard? Link to comment

If he's not trusted with 5 minutes this season then he won't be developing to a starter in next 2-3 months A loan or unused sub next season Link to comment

aberdeen1970
Not to worry though, we fought off European giants such as Hibs to get this lad. 1 Link to comment

He may be absolutely pish. We don't know yet. However it's not a surprise that he's barely played. We've been in a bit of a dog-fight and pitching a guy who's only played US College football and has just returned from a hernia injury right in to the team probably wouldn't be the smartest move. The last few games of the season, now that the pressure is off, will be very instructive though. 1 2 Link to comment

Aye, although only a horror show in the next 2 games would give us any reason for concern, you'd think Goodwin will want to wait until we're mathematically safe before experimenting with the likes of Polvara. Hopefully get that fixed this weekend and that leaves the final 2 games for Goodwin to do as he wishes with fringe players, youngsters and systems. We've been overstocked with central midfielders in the last couple of seasons but could see 4 leave since January and there be a question mark remaining over Polvara's ability/use. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Ach let's give the lad a chance. He's only played about 5 minutes in total and arrived with a hernia injury and zero professional football experience. Hopefully will get a chance to play in the last 2 games then a good loan in the first half of next season where he can get regular starts would be beneficial for him. 1 1 Link to comment
Granite95
Polvara hopefully get some loan experience, unsure how good or otherwise he is, cannae be any worse than some of the shite we've had in midfield recently Link to comment

Durrant Dived
Dylan Levitt out of contract at the end of season. He's been good for United and would fill one of the many cm voids we are about to make free. 1 Link to comment

Take all of those in a heart-beat tbh, doubt we'd be able to get Levitt, Hector or Seigriest but the rest would certainly be an upgarde to our team Link to comment
