Thing is I’ve seen literally minutes of the loon, in fact longer in a Kelty strip than an AFC one.  If this gets him to screw the nut he could be our next Nicky Low

But he can suck up £250 a week less to make sure he learns his lesson.

Weird one now, compared to last summer, for the club as his value across this window and the next two is probably roughly the same so there is little incentive to sell.

Will he finally sign a new deal, move this summer or everyone leaves it for another window?

Unless he's got a move lined up his best move would be to get himself fit over the summer and try and break into the team on a more regular basis next season.

There are plenty of games to go around if he shows the right attitude.

That’s my thought too (but I’ll defer to those who have seen more of him than I).  There’s bound to be a role for the 75 minute sub once we’re cruising 2-0.  Use him to rotate and protect particularly Clarkson, Ramadani and, hopefully, Shinnie.

And let’s be honest, not the worst three to be learning from.  That’s the role we need filled by someone.

And yes, by cruising 2-0 I of course mean 1-0 and holding on by our fingertips.  Point stands.

I'd assume if he still gets the option to sign a deal with us, it will be vastly reduced on the one he was offered last year.

He played about 10 good games for us and his agent must have told him clubs were looking at him so don’t sign, he gets an injury and we take in Clarkson, clubs won’t be sitting waiting on a 21 year old who hasn’t played in over a year and now can’t sign for another 6 months. Badly advised by agent and parents who saw pound signs, he should have signed up like Ferguson and at least got the club a few quid

He’s not good enough.

Honestly we don't need this guy he is just taking a wage

There is no way he will ever make an impact at this level or ar AFC

He is so lucky that we failed to get another midfield player in at the last moment

So for now he keep his boots clean and keep his permanent seat on the bench 

Hopefully somebody takes him on loan at the next window

Yes, really liked Connor Barrin when he first came through the youth team and that Scottish Cup debut v Edinburgh City that Dave Cormack so kindly gave us free after two and a half years no games but still full charge to retain my season ticket seat !!

There’s always a way back, but he’s got to earn it.

If he can’t be arsed fighting his way into this team he might as well pack it in because isn’t going to make it anywhere with that sort of attitude.

Played well today. Composed under pressure and tried to move the ball quickly, made a few tackles as well. 

It's in his and our best interests that he knuckles down and gets some games under his belt. We're going to need him, at least between now and January.
