As much as it is good and I will be there, football is so fucking ridiculous now. As much as I love watching pretty much every game in both Scotland and England it is pretty much a given now that Man City and Celtic will win.

Anyone but Shamrock Rovers.

Players will think they're playing Celtic, have Johnny Rambo-style PTSD flashbacks, and lose both legs 5-0.

Cheers for the Dildo MT, absolutely guaranteed you won’t be getting any tickets for the games

Doesn't seem as strong a list as I thought it would be....

I will point out that it's a bit skewed because of the pot system;

We've got a 50% chance of playing one of the following:

  • Slavia Prague
  • Olympiacos
  • Lugano
  • Panathanikos
  • Dnipro-1 OR Zorya Luhansk
  • Antwerp OR Union St-Gilloise OR Genk

50% chance of the rest.

I don't think it would take too much for sevco to overhaul Celtic. Especially if, as expected, Postecoglu fucks off to Spurs in the coming days/weeks. Celtic do have enough cash available to give to whoever their boss might be that they could ensure it doesn't happen but for whatever reason, they seem to risk things by not blowing sevco out the water completely

That could be a tough draw but winnable with a decent squad.  the reality is playing in europe is like playing celtic/rangers every week due to the huge budget disparity.

Yeah it is a bit odd, but i suppose they like the idea of saying they "beat" their rivals to win everything

Ah ffs - I'm watching a lot of the LOI games these days as daughters boyfriend at Dundalk this season. They played Shamrock last night - we'd hump them, probably about Falkirk level or below.

Or they might beat us - who knows, I've been out all day

Would be very tempted by a wee Athens trip in the event of drawing Olympiakos or Pana

Athens was a great trip, police escort to and from the stadium and got told to watch myself after the game. Absolutely zero trouble whatsoever, they were all nice folk.

Fans can't have it both ways,

Ok celebrate and embrace qualification for Europe.

Look at the possibilities of opponents and the moan like fuck when after two games against some fuckung team of retarded doorknob fuckers from bongo bongo land, knock us out.

At least it's more games next season to get new arsehole torn

Flora Tallin or Vilnius would be crazy sides to meet in the EL PO compared to years gone by

So, so beatable, a few more quid in a slightly higher standard competition and if somehow we finished 3rd in the group we’d drop onto the conference league knock outs anyway
