Correct. They are grim. We’re 8th in the league, playing shite,  the managers a fucking imbecile, we’ve signed and look like signing nothing that’s going to improve us in January and there is nothing of note coming from those at the helm anything is going to change.

a few well trodden Jesus or address jokes/ puns isn’t doing any harm.

Do we think we will sign any players we badly need to make any formation actually work? We need a winger more than anything. Assuming we don’t see a Rama replacement as needed when we have went and signed an attacking centre mid. Surely couldn’t go and sign another 1.

Daily Record updated their transfer page to say we're in for Kerr after they'd posted about Pollock. Hedging their bets, but probably more truth in the Kerr rumour.

Pollock will never come here. Possible potential if he hadn’t played so well at weekend and has Watford fans now wanting him to stay.

I agree it's a bit last minute looking for a centre back but to be fair to the club is it not only because of Ruby's injury that we are seeking a replacement?

Would kerr be a permanent or a loan?

Tbf he only identifies targets, it’s not his job to present the club to targets and offer them wages and their clubs fees if needed.

I'm not sure we'd be in for centre half if it wasn't for injuries to Ruby and the Danish pastry.

Kill-All-Ians' isn't a straight replacement for Rama but he at least sounds like he has a bit of energy and dig about him, which we've missed.

It's the lack of attacking width that's giving me the fear we're either returning to a back 5 or our current narrow shape.

Sounds like Jason Kerr rumour has more legs in it from a follow on instagram. Might be nothing but he doesn't follow any other scottish clubs outside St Johnstone despite being a hibs fan. Hibs tried for him last week but can't pay his full wages, loans from bournemouth is all they can afford in this window now after a big splash on the new forward. 

Pollock wants more game time and has handed in a transfer request, his performance at the weekend will mean he has eyes on him from a lot of clubs down south now. With his mate Macdonald not entirely happy and could still leave this window, I wouldn't be holding out much hope on that front.

I wasn’t meaning to be specific to centre half, just a general reference to the sense that whoever we bring in, if we do bring in anyone that is,  across any positions, it doesn’t feel at all like we are bringing in dedicated targets who you would hope have been identified since close of last window. (Job of HoR)
 

appreciate it’s the difficult Jan window etc but always used to think we were better than that.
