Bars/pubs In Town.

Fuck em, they only work in a bar cos they can't get a proper job. It's like tipping the milkman at Christmas or saying thank you to the bus driver. Why? They're just doing their jobs. Nobody buys me a drink for doing my job, miserable bastards. Now, tipping a waiter or a delivery man is different, if you tip them, they won't spit on your food the next time you visit their restaurant or get a delivery.

Can't believe the red lion is shut .

Many a good pre/ post match session in there.

Proper aberdeen supporters bar. Mind once a mannie made the mistake of coming in with a hun top on on matchday and got so much abuse he didn't make it to the bar!

Also my first experience of the Columbian marching powder in there. Part of the day long build up to the game where some finely dressed chaps escorted some trespassers off the pitch at pittodrie.

AN ABERDEEN pub has applied for listed building consent to demolish its existing roof and create a beer garden.

The proposed changes are mainly for the rear of The Justice Mill on Aberdeen’s Union Street.

Owners JD Wetherspoon want to replace an existing staircase and build a lift.

The application states: “The design aims not only to increase the footfall but enhance the aesthetics of the building making the building more desirable for the user.

“We believe that our proposals would complement the external appearance of the building.”

Members of the public have until April 20 to comment on the application.

Always liked Dizzy's. Shame to see it go. Cracking food aswell.

A POPULAR Aberdeen bar and restaurant is to remain open after finding a new owner.
The family-owned Dizzy’s, Carden Place, has been bought over today.
The new owner will take control of the premises on June 1, while the current owners, David and Carol Munro, will wave their goodbyes on May 30.
Chef David and his wife Carol, who run the front of house, announced in February they were to retire after years of successful trade at the popular West End spot. It is believed staff have already been told about the good news.

Although Dizzy’s is now on Carden Place, it began life at 1 Queen’s Cross in 1968 and is known for its red and black interior and atmospheric spotlights.

Oh ffs, if Snafu is reoppening it should be strictly for techno nights, none of these beer hipster cunts hanging around thinking the world owes them whilst they waltz about trying to be cool, edgy and different, tosser.

Was a decent line up, Sunshine Underground being the pick, obviously.
