Ended up in G casino last night, tragically. Place was teaming with strippers trying to fleece blokes for drinks/ money. African sort with the foul attitude. Trying to have a whisky with some black magic rubbing her tits against you wanting you to buy her drinks. Weemin. Cunts.

I love when we're out shopping in toon and I tell the missus I need to have a look at something and sneak of to Wordies for a pint.

When I last lived in Aberdeen, Wordies had a reputation as a gay bar. I guess that's not the case these days? Another famous gay bar was Jeeves in Rosemount. What was that bar/club in Adelphi called? Me and my mate went in there one night cos you could get in with trainers and it was open after most other bars had closed. We never realised it was a gay bar and my mate wanted to batter someone just to prove he wasn't gay.

Revellers will raise a glass one last time to a pub which opened more than 100 years ago.

The East Neuk Bar on King Street will shut its doors for the last time on February 27 after the first drink was served 111 years ago in 1905.
Stuart Horne, manager at the bar, said: “The bar will close its doors for the last time at the end of the month.
“The reason for the closure is due to the downturn in the oil industry over the last 12 months.
“The drinking culture in the country has also played a big impact on the closure of the pub.”
The 28-year-old said to celebrate the last night of the pub they will hold a karaoke night.

Eh? Surely the 'drinking culture' in this country should have helped keep it open.

Anyone been in that new place across from The Stag. Used to be The Office, got a new name now. Was in there last night, decent enough. Plenty TV's when the sport is on. Good mix of 80' and 90's music. When the boxing was on, there was some guy shadow boxing throughout. Funny to see but very strange.

When we left looked like there was a bit of a stramash going on outside Abercrombies. Anyone there know what that was about?
