Scott Davie is a grade A bell end, he clearly loves it when Aberdeen lose or play badly.

f**k off to Kirkcaldy you public schoolboy prick!

Where he went to school should have nothing to do with it. The fact he's from Kirkcaldy says enough!

We both think you're a bell end though.

You make your first friend in ages & you speak about me? WOW!

Joking aside FnD......good result the night.

STAND FREE.

Result should be a given but any win for us now a days (& I mean ANY) is a relief & that's not how it should be supporting Aberdeen. Not EVERY win we get.

2 in a row 2 in a row hello hello

Could have looked a right tit tonite by starting Mackie and resting Gonzales.............but hats off to you Broon....elevated from Senile old bas*ard..to...wylie old cu*t!!

Darren take note...you could be banging them in on a regular basis...Well done Craig you helped the lad find his level tonite...All First Division managers...I'm sure Aberdeen won't be hard to deal with.

We have our best manager in 25 years, and the finest assistant on planet earth in terms of experience, and this pair ken exactly what it takes to win a simple game of f**king football.

Nail the midfield, and you win.

The naysayers are going to have a healthy dose of egg on their chins come May.

And of course I'll gleefully trouser one hundred pounds from the third most torn faced hoor on AFC Chat, ebbe, a good soul, who's been badly advised, and will suffer a financial penalty for his naivety in the face of my sage advice to the contrary.

As for Stoney and his incredulous proclamations of doom two weeks ago, the fact you were putting a massive welly in to the club when they were down on the bones of their arse will be difficult to forgive min, because you still appear to be convinced this manager will fail, and the team does not have what it takes.

Football is 95% mindset, ergo the manager is pivotal, and we have possibly the best one in the SPL.

This team is only going to get better, winning breeds confidence, which breeds momentum, etc etc etc.

Dundee would have turned us over in the past but the players know their role now, and the team has a shape and coherence which was entirely absent in the last 2 years, where game planning amounted to mouthing off about opponents in the days leading up to the game, and character assassination of young players, supporters, and previously good players in the inquest which followed.

I implore the doubters to drop the chips on their shoulders in relation to that era and get behind a team which has massive potential.

Lets not get carried away with a couple of wins against the team at the foot of the division and a team a division below...I'm happy to see us back to winning ways but nothing has changed in terms of being at least 3 players short of a top 6 team

First half an hour, well on top, playing well, good passing, in front and then after that, we stopped playing football, reverted to long balls and bypassed the midfield. Pawlett, excellent for the first 30, barely involved afterwards. You would barely have realised Fyvie was playing second half. Think Arnason going off was a turning point in the football aspect, after that, there didn't seem to be anyone wanting to pass it short from defence, and there was no-one in central midfield offering themselves.

That said, for all the possession Dundee had, they never really threatened, and we still created a few chances.

Brown - Dealt with most that came his way, slight issue with a long range shot that he appeared to lose, but otherwise solid. Doesn't like to play football out of defence as much as Gonzalez.

Foster - Decent attacking threat most of the time and dealt well with most things defensively, though when Magennis was the protection in front more play came that way, and more crosses in from that side. Went on a superb run when Pawlett hit the post. MotM according to announcer. Probably between him and Jack for entire 90 minutes performance.

Jack - Couple of well timed interceptions and headers during some of their attacks and was comfortable at right back, even when Pawlett offered little protection second half.

Considine - Largely solid defensively. sh*te distribution.

Arnason - Sailed through the first half. Didn't really see what caused the injury. Hopefully not a bad one as he is a class act.

Mawene (sub) - He reads the game well, but seems a bit ponderous. Couple of such moments tonight but usually recovered.

Pawlett - He is ridiculously fast and controls the ball well at full pelt. Need to get more of him bombing at full backs. Drifted out of the game though when we stopped playing football and kept losing their left back when he went in field.

Clark - He is ridiculously slow, but still contributed a lot pre-injury. Some good crosses in, good link up with Jack, and good play from him for the goal.

Osboure - Same again first half today, crunching in to challenges, breaking up play. Simple play. Game bypassed him second half, with more of their attack focussed down the wings. Seemed to sit a bit too deep too.

Fyvie - Offered himself plenty in the first half, went missing second. Not helped by the long ball, but never seemed to be getting up near the forwards and their defenders to try and win second balls. Superb defence splitting through ball to Mackie in the first half unfortunately didn't lead to better.

Magennis - Runs a lot, is powerful (and unfairly treated by referees) and caused problems first half tonight. His control is improving as well. Still think with more first team football this guy can make it here. Missed a sitter of a header though from a good Clark cross which he met completely unmarked.

Mackie - You see the best and worst of him within a couple of minutes. Good control and finish for the goal, a couple of other decent half shots. Also some excellent skill to beat a couple of men before going down far too easily. Then you get the lack of concentration, wandering well offside and not getting back on when calling for a pass, poor control and losing the ball when it seems easier not to. Important goal though and well taken. We are better with a confident Mackie if he is to feature this year, so hopefully that helps.

Chalali - Lively player. Didn't look the fastest but had a couple of good breaks but struggled with any end product. Is he a leftie? As both of his first attacks he struggled on his right foot but then had a good left footed shot deflected at the end. Hard to pass any for of judgement yet, given that he was pitched right in after a lot of travelling and the team had stopped playing football before he came on, but he doesn't seem afraid to get stuck in. Hopefully see more of him in the coming weeks...

All in all, we did enough to go through tonight, and I am always happy with that after recent history. Onwards we go.
