ScottishJohn
I also hope it is a bunch of unknown players for Man U. Can't stand seeing all the glory hunters piling into Pittodrie with their Man U tops. Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
Fuck the glory hunters, lets just concentrate on Simmy Link to comment
Foster14
Yes. Malmaison. Why do you ask? Incorrect. Tis the Marcliffe. I got to see the Manchester United demands for what they had to have available for the pre-match feed. It was quite specific. Link to comment
Foster14
Apologies actually, Boofon is correct, it is Malmaison. Marcliffe didn't have enough rooms and Manchester United players don't share rooms... Link to comment
bruceg1978
It's the Travel Lodge on North Anderson Drive. Just seen a big "Welcome Manchester United" sign on the front entrance. Link to comment
DandyDon KD
I heard that there is going to be a 3 stand display at the game tonight is this true Link to comment
stand_free
Apparently the biggest ever display at Pittodrie. Don't know what it entails. Also just spied this as far as the legends playing goes... Neil confirmed that Dougie Bell, Doug Rougvie, Steve Tosh and Brian Grant will take part in the game. Neil will not play but will kick the game off. Link to comment
King Street Loon
It's the Menzies on Farburn Terrace. They're coming in by Bond helicopters and staying there for convenience. Link to comment

Big Man
It's the Menzies on Farburn Terrace. They're coming in by Bond helicopters and staying there for convenience. Pish. It's a private charter plane. They're due to clear security at around 12.40. My brother in-law is a security guard at the airport. He's had a briefing about it. Apparently they're not getting any VIP treatment and have to clear through the terminal with the rest of us mongs normal people. Link to comment

Bluto10
In that case I expect AFC Chat to be quiet this afternoons with the multitude of glory hunters from here off stalking Rooney or whoever for autographs. the mm is just round the corner from where i live, so i might just pop in and say hello. DandyDon KD
Really annoying how people who don't like aberdeen are going to the game tonight, they are just going to watch the united stars. But yet there is lots of loyal aberdeen fans who dont have tickets and are trying to get.I bet some of the folk who are going in the aberdeen end can't name any of our players never mind simmy Link to comment

stand_free
Thing is though, the game was hardly a rapid sell out so it shouldn't have been too hard for any Dandies who wanted to go to get tickets 1 Link to comment
DandyDon KD
Apparently the display has been recked from the rain so they need volunteers to meet at pittodrie at 12:00 (sorry I know that it's a bit late but just found out) Link to comment

To a different country! If you are feeling homesick or having trouble adjusting to your new environment, or even accepting that you've moved, please pop into 'Tup's Corner' where we can wallow in nostalgia and pretend this friendly was taking place 10 years ago. sooth_stander
Maybe not the right time or place to say this, but I will do anyway. Simmy was in the Scotland squad for the international the wednesday after THAT Rangers game. The Sun editorial came out with that disgraceful attack of AFC in general and Neil in particular on the monday. Probably unconnected to that, but hours later, he was out of the international squad. Injured, apparently/allegedly. Never was selected again for his country. Never let the it be forgotten how the SFA treated our legend. Link to comment
K-9
Brian Grant starts for Aberdeen tonight. Simpson will take kick off but won't play Link to comment

Kilkito
Took the harbour turn off at 5 o'clock and still not past the Ford showrooms, traffic is unbelievable, I'll be lucky to see Simmy kick off at this rate. Link to comment
