In other news I have no linkage of the butcher in Rothienorman was broken into the other week and they stole 60 dozen eggs.

Yes that's right. 720 eggs.

My brother's deli in Cullen was also broken into and the fuckers stole 4 charity boxes. Well I say boxes. They bust open the boxes and stole the contents. Not sure if both break ins are related. Probably not.

Two men have admitted setting fire to a stolen car in an Aberdeenshire supermarket car park while people were still sitting inside.

Greg Hatten, 24, poured petrol into the boot and Robert Beattie, 28, lit the fuel at Asda in Portlethen in March last year.
At the High Court in Aberdeen, they admitted wilful fire-raising and endangering the lives of Marcus Paton and Christopher Matthews.
Sentence was deferred.
They had originally been charged with attempted murder.
A third co-accused - Keith Meldrum - had his not guilty plea accepted.
The men were caught on CCTV after driving the stolen vehicle to Asda.
Advocate depute Bill McVicar said that Paton had stolen the car.
The court heard he was currently serving 18 months in prison for the offence.
The fire-raising case will call again at the High Court in Edinburgh next month.

The large-scale theft of milk from the Inverurie and Kintore areas of Aberdeenshire has sparked a police appeal.

Eight separate thefts have happened outside commercial premises and educational establishments after deliveries over the past fortnight.

The thefts all took place between 02:00 and 07:00 and a vehicle is thought to have been used.

PC Doug McMann said: "It appears that these incidents are linked."

He added: "It is thought that the persons responsible would be operating during the early hours of the morning and residents who are active at this time are asked to be vigilant of anything suspicious and contact police immediately."

The total value of the milk taken is believed to be more than £100.
