E-P-K
I'm certainly miles better at pool than you pair of bufties. That £50 bet is still active. See you at Dingwall. As for drinking, bad idea buying beer on a Wednesday, as end up just drinking them. Bitburger and Vedett being the best of them. Link to comment
tup
Doubt we will get a game of pool in Dingwall. Link to comment

StandFree1982
How much I enjoy drinking depends on the usual factors: Who i'm drinking withWhere i'm drinkingWhat i'm drinkingDrinking can be ace. I couldn't just sit in the house and drink by myself though. Link to comment

Geoff_Tipps
I think I'm going to take two months without drinking at all for October and November.Just to see what the results are.I'll keep you posted. There's not a great deal on in those months anyway so should be straightforward. The results will be the same, you'll still be a cunt. 1 Link to comment

Karl Fletcher
I don't see the point in staying off the drink unless you're going to do it for years or even the rest of your life. "Been aff the drink for 2 weeks now, feeling good" Good for you. You'll drink twice as much when you're back on it next week. I too also have a cynical distrust of those who don't drink. That's like saying you don't enjoy sex or seeing a hun get his head kicked in. 2 Link to comment

tup
You genuinely sound as if you have alcohol issues Karl. You make it sound like boom and bust. Not for me, I'm hardly ever on the drink anyway so just a minor adjustment to my schedule is required. You make it sound as if without drink, there is nothing to live for. Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
I'm just a normal bloke who enjoys a drink, tup, like the majority of people on this board and in life in general. Link to comment
Bluto10
this time of year is ace for drink. champions league games coming thick and fast; nights drawing in, cosy winter pubs. Link to comment
tup
I happen to believe that drinking regularly is not really normal although I accept our society is such that it seems that way. I only sometimes enjoy a drink. Other times I dont enjoy it and wish I had not bothered. More of the latter than the former to be honest. Seen too many folk destroyed by it. Link to comment

Bluto10
as a youngster in my bold youth, it really was all about drinking as much as humanly physically possible. these days i tend to savour it more and drink only the choiciest of beverages available on the premises. life shouldnt be wasted with domestic lager when theres a premium strength microbrew available.
