zander
2000 really is a laughable amount on the first game of the season for a team suposdley on to great things. We'd take 5/6 easy to tannadump. Link to comment
tup
I think they have sold out their allocation so that's all you can ask, the more the merrier IMO. Link to comment

CalgaryDon
Think we'll be ok despite playing tonight. Was being optimistic about tonight's result however I think we'll be just fine on Sunday. Tough opener and utd will be up for it but so will we. Predicting 2-2 15,000 (odd) - first time in a long time I can remember Aberdeen getting several attendances in a row at Pittodrie above 15k. dj_bollocks
If it's not 3 or 4 nil to us I'd be disappointed. This season we need to be blooding the kids and giving them a good 20-30 minutes. Wright, Shankland, Low, McManus properly rotate the squad, keep it fresh, not just chucking them in when someone's injured... Link to comment
tup
Back to the real stuff on Sunday, COYR. Link to comment

Bit of a baptism of fire for Taylor that then.Opening game against Utd at home. Hope he handles it ok. Should maybe stick Brown in goal for a bit of extra security for him. Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
So the situation is that our current LB who is really a winger is suspended and our stand in LB who is actually a CB can't play at CB where he is needed because he is playing LB, which he isn't? Is that about it? Link to comment

Put it this way then. Yes it's "only" Utd & yes we bitch slapped them aaaaaaall last season BUT all that said. Who would you prefer to play against them at CH? Anderson, who has been fkn awesome last few games, or Taylor (the player we have yet to find out if he can actually defend) ? Besides. We've just put in a hell of a lot of effort in that game & we need that momentum carried on for opening game (regardless of who it's against) & Anderson is THEEEEE man to solidify us in than respect. Not saying Taylor is shite but I know which CH I'd rather played in this game. Link to comment
tup
I think Dundee United are a bit of an unknown quantity. They have made quite a few changes so they could be great or dismal. Link to comment
Dandyesque
Utd resorted to long ball stuff last time we played them/ I can see them doing the same again. Taylor is a beast and will mop it up all day long Reynolds will do the actual defending. 2-0 Aberdeen- Robson & Goodwillie Link to comment
