dj_bollocks
ICT have lost 2 games on the trot… We're 6 wins out of 7 with 6 clean sheets... The odds are (forever) in our favour… Need a win (always need a win)... I think we can eek out a win here, but we really need to start banging in our chances… Brown Logan - Taylor - Reynolds - Considine Pawlett - Jack - Robson - Hayes McGinn Rooney Link to comment

fifered
Can't see us dropping Goodwillie. He played well yesterday. I think we'll win this comfortably. We'll be able to play on the break more and we'll take them apart. Link to comment
buchanskii
Ever since Hayes has been playing centrally he's been in contention for the MoTM award every time, I wouldn't change our formation to accommodate the Dinosaur Robson. I bet Goodwillies energy levels are one of the best in the league, and he's a good football brain. Defenders won't like playing against him as they barely have any time to think with the ball and are rushed into mistakes. People say John Hughes caley team play good football but I reckon if we get in their faces they'll shite it and won't be able to cope with us. Link to comment
Tord31
said on another thread I wonder if given Goodie was a bit unlucky yesterday, threw the tantrum and needed a telling off and coupled with the fact we might want to freshen things up given run of games then can see him stepping out for one game. Robson (or Shankland tho not as likely) to come in. Any word on Anderson, Robertson, Low and Flood? I'd think Flood might be nearing fitness and Anderson is planned to return to training this weekend (info from agm) providing he hasnt had yet another setback. We will have ability to recall any of Shaughnessey, Rogers, Masson and McManus for the following game if we do want to beef up the squad. Link to comment
dj_bollocks
That's why I missed #Badcock out… I guess it depends the measure of DMc as to whether he benches him as an "I'm the boss" move or he let's it pass… I'd certainly be curious to see McGinn in a more forward role and ICT shouldn't be underestimated either. If they are having an off day you can sub Robson (who's a 60/70 minute man these days anyway) and put on #Badcock or #ShankTheTank and have more options up front. They've got an extra day off, so there's no excuse not to be fresh and up for it next Sunday. #coyr Link to comment

ChutneyLove
Why in the fuck would we put Robson straight back in the team??Agreed. Find it hard to believe that anyone wants to change a team that has conceded no goals in 6 of their last 7 league games, winning them in the process. Injuries or suspensions aside, leave it well the fuck alone. Link to comment
minijc
Not going, was meant to be up for the weekend but with it being moved to the sunday I can't go now as I'll be flying to Liverpool for the Liverpool match on the monday night, EPL>>>SPFL however I expect us to get the win, we are really starting to put a run together and looking good. the sheep
Happy with the same team with Hays in the middle. However, if there is some sort of miracle that a left back is actually fit any time soon then it would be good to play a left back regardless of age. Maybe not for a game of this importance though. Same team but some in the team need to close down quicker and show more desire without the ball. Would like to see more tactical use of subs and not just to give players 5 minutes. Would like to see Shankland get 20 minutes with Goodwillie on the pitch. If Rooney has scored or is not making an impact then give the guy a rest and let's see some other partnership going forward. Rooney can score and is full of confidence but I just don't want us to get to the stage where we are relying on Roonie to grab a goal and our other striking options are ether untried or lacking in confidence. In the continuing absence of Mackay I thought he (the beardy one) was their most effective player at pittodrie. And don't start me on the penalty! Link to comment
