dave_min
Tunis was alright when I was there. I'm going skiing in France next month. Been invited to a wedding in japan in summer. Link to comment
dazzy_deff
I was in Tunisia last April. Hotel was nice, food wasn't the greatest. We were left a little disappointed as we had been to Egypt the year before and it was far superior. Link to comment

RUL
Does anyone use Tripadvisor? Every time I think i've found a good place to go I have a look on there and the reviews put me off. Egypt seems a bit risky for some sunshine these days. Link to comment

Egypt seems a bit risky for some sunshine these days.I've used it quite a lot. Some of the reviews are nonsense, with folk marking hotels down for the smallest of things - 'my towel wasn't folded properly!!' We've been to loads of places that had a few bad reviews and found them all good. Link to comment

The rankings of hotels are pretty accurate. Pretty wasy to sort the truth from the shite. Link to comment

Wouldn't recommend a 2 week family holiday in Cairo. Link to comment
dervish
I was looking into Tunisia, family holiday, early June, has anyone ever been? I assume if they are advertising it's reasonably safe? I went there ages ago with family. Was good for a beach holiday. The hotel we were in had great food. Just depends really. Me and GF looking at NY. Her holidays are at peak sprog hol time though. Planning on going via Dublin because then it's only ~£800 "from" Inverness. Stag planning looking like Munich and Prague. Main reasons, football + AK47s + cheap drink. Link to comment

I really fancy somewhere in South America or the Carribean this year, but will no doubt end up in Ibiza at the end of September. Link to comment
